Bag looks and feels amazing. It’s excellent quality and design BUT it doesn’t have the rain hood as advertised. Or maybe I got a used bag and paid for a new one. Even the tag says it should have a rain hood. It’s supposed to be a birthday present so there’s no time to return it. Lame experience.

I have had other Izzo bags, so I have come to expect a quality product from this brand. I have a couple of reservations--but not enough to downgrade my rating. First of all, the white looks great, but I happened to bleed on it a little while loading it up, and I quickly started scrubbing with soap and water, but I was never able to entirely remove the stain. It's fine; I will happily continue using it after it collects some scruffy grass and mud stains, but if you're picky about looks, you might want to consider another color if you plan on abusing it much. I confess I haven't carried a bag for a round in a long time, since I use a push cart. This works well with the cart, since it has a strap to contain the legs. But when I tested its functionality as a backpack bag, I could never get it as comfortable as I would like. It came with the back straps adjusted equally, which was comfortable, but it meant the bag was parallel to the ground, meaning clubs could dribble out the end. When I tried to adjust the angle upward, I couldn't find a position where the lower clip didn't dig into my torso a bit, which wasn't horrible, but I imagine it could get annoying after 18 holes. Maybe I simply never figured out the optimal adjustment position, or maybe all backpack bags are like this, but I mention it in case it's a concern for you. The compartments are fine, with inner dividers, but I personally miss having a dedicated putter well. The automatically extending legs work well (after you load the bag with the weight of your clubs), and the nylon fabric is strong and light. The pockets are good, and I really like the magnetic (zipperless) one. As long as the design fits your needs, and you find the price a comparable value, I recommend this bag.
