Seems ok so far. I was wondering if it could cut line ok. 10lb test mono was a breeze, not sure how it will stand up to 30lb braided. But shouldn't be an issue. I have yet to try tying a knot yet, but seems simple. Retractable belt.loop is a nice addition which makes it handy while fishing

Nice compact nail knot tool, spike cleans out hook eyes well, line cutter works well. Inexpensive and it works, what more could you want.

Tool is very small. Very cheap made and will not take much use as already getting loose at pivot points

Love the tool and the file, clipers aren't good for braid. But i love the nail knot it ties

Good enough for my flyfishing fun---helped me with snipping line and tying my knots anytime my line broke--great tool for cheap---got it hooked to my vest all the time!

My son told me he was looking for a knot tying devise for fishing.. I had NO idea what it was or looked like... He described it and I found it on Amazon and ordered TWO of them. He absolutely loves it and now he's got one and his wife or son can use the other one. He said that was the handiest little gadget he's seen ever! He liked that it had a way to secure or clip it to something so he didn't drop it when he was out fishing in his kayak :)

Instructions sent with product belong to a different device. No instructions for my intended use. Add is misleading don't wast your money unless you are strictly a fly fisherman and can't tie your leader. Tool is a joke, I tossed my in the round file.
