You need to put the belt half way up your legs not fully tight, then put the leg straps around your feet then slide the belt up on your waist. Also, have enough "padding" like a thicker shirt between the belt and your skin. Use the easiest bands first (and probably forever) as the bands are tight. They're tight because they work! With a little practice, you'll find that this is an amazing product that truly does what it's supposed to. My bootie has never looked better thanks to the Booty belt and it also does a great job on the abs. As a runner, it is also a fantastic way to stretch out before and after a run. Highly recommend. Phenomenal creation and a great workout! I love it. I could tell from the demonstration, the model was working hard. I hesitate to buy it because some folks thought it too expensive, or the belt too tight, or thought the pink band had way too much resistance. Not me! But that might be because I am a regular gym goer, and have taken group fitness classes for years just to keep my weight down. I am not a fitness nut, but I know what works for me, and I've tried all the machines, had a trainer...you name it. I put the belt over my t-shirt at the point of my waist it's most comfortable, and the foot bands over my sneakers. My quads and glutes are my problem areas, and I've always had a hard time targeting them. Kickboxing is great, and this booty belt is really great.
