## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would these create a cold bridge, when being used with insulated plasterboard?**
A: I would think no as there plastic. 
I used them to fix exterior insulation to house walls

**Q: How do you fix them into the wall ? Drill hole and hammer in? What size drill bit?**
A: Yes a size 8mm drill bit. Drilled holes 10/15mm deeper than the fixing. Try and clear as much dust from the hole as you can. 

Fill hole halfway with a basic contract grade silicone then hammer in the plastic fixing. I used 50mm long fixings mostly but also used 90mm where I hit mortar joints in a random stone wall. 

I used these fixings at 250mm centres to fix a heavy duty damproof membrane to a stone wall. System worked well.
