This printer prints just as good if not a little better than the CR-10s. It was really easy to assemble, if the instructions aren't clear enough there are plenty of videos online that you can look up.If you are new to the hobby and are looking for your first printer I highly suggest the Ender 3. The value can't be beat at this price point. 3D printing does require quite a bit of tinkering and tuning to get the best prints so buying a cheaper printer that can produce great results is a great entry point. If I were looking to buy a 3rd printer I would buy another Ender 3 due to its great price and small footprint. It really is that great of a printer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quickly becoming my favorite (read updates) *by N***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2019* Wow. Same basic setup and quality as my CR-10 and CR-10S with a smaller print bed. Nothing to dislike except the initial build, which was fine.I have a small print farm in my office; two CR-10’s, three Monoprice Mini v2’s and (now) one Ender 3. The bed size of the Ender is perfect. I have come to realize that I will likely never print anything that requires the full bed size of the CR-10. There are too many considerations and personal choices to list, but I’d recommend that you give lots of thought to whether you really need the larger printer (and higher cost).The positioning of the components is super, as is the all-in-one build. I’ve seen the CR-10 hacks to integrate the separate board/spool/power supply box, and that’s a pain. The Ender is intergrated out of the box; one footprint and no tethers.This kit is nice with the glass bed and extras. Like the CR-10’s, the glass bed makes easy work of removing prints. The extra nozzles are nice to have, as is the spool holder. These extras are value added and together would run app $20+.Build took app 45 minutes. The printed instructions were fine. There was one ambiguity with a screw size, and another with the screen ribbon toward the end of the build, but no headaches.Amazon prime delivered in two days. The box was perfect; manufacture’s was well packed and padded, inside a perfectly sized Amazon box.Bed leveling is manual as with my CR-10. The oversized knobs on the Ender make easy work of it, as does the smaller bed size.If I had to find something to be critical about, I would point to the board/CPU fan. It faces up, directly beneath the print bed, drawing air down toward the board. From time to time on my other printers, there are errant pieces of filament that drop over the sides of the bed (near the fan blades on the Ender).(Update 1)I bought a second Ender 3 and it should not have passed quality control. It took me twice as long to build because holes did not line up and the frame wasn’t squared as a result. If I hadn’t had such a great experience with the first build, I would have torched the printer in this review. Amazon made the return experience excellent and immediate, so the purchase experience has been fully redeemed. I won’t deduct a star yet because I think the second printer was merely a 1:1M mistake, and now await receipt of its replacement.(Update 2)I have been using the replacement of the 2nd Ender with no problems, only successes. All parts came in good shape.The instructions leave much to be desired. Download an Ender 3user manual and the assembly manual.
