It's adjustable and comfortable! I can feel my shoulders pulled back, I can almost say you can actually feel it working. It's causes a little bit of discomfort because it's readjusting your posture by slowly pulling it back in place (that's just my way of explaining, not something it says on the packaging FYI) so it's to be expected.
