Dimensions of all sizes of EXTREME KONG

I have a Boxador (65 lbs) and he is a very aggressive chewer.  I get him the Kong Extremes XXL so that he can have something to destroy.  It takes him a little bit but yes, they don't hold up if you have a really aggressive chewer and although they are much less expensive here on Amazon you can still end up spending a lot of money on toys if you have an aggressive chewer.  I have found that the GoughNuts toys with the yellow dot are fantastic.  And they have a LIFETIME GUARANTEE and are also available here on Amazon.  I bought 2 different styles and he hasn't even left a tooth mark on them and he plays with them all the time.  (except when I give him something he can actually destroy - he does love that).

How big is the x-large? I have a pit bull what size should I get?

I have 2 pitbulls one is 65 lbs and one is 75lbs and I get them large. They love em and they last longer than any other toy we've tried.

Your headline states that the Kong is BLACK but in the description it says it's made of a RED compound. Which is correct?

I'm guessing that was a mistake which they've since fixed, since as of August 2014 the description says it's made of a black compound. Either way, here's the information you're looking for: KONG makes these toys in several different varieties of durability. There is one for puppies and one for seniors. Then the red one is the "average" one and the most common. And the black one is what this product is, the Extreme KONG. It's for "power chewers", dogs who tend to tear up all plush toys and also destroy many rubber toys. The compound is simply more durable. I know this is too late to help the original poster, but here's the info in case it's helpful to someone else. :)
