Blackstar FLY3PAK Guitar Combo Amplifier (Black)

Tried this as a substitute for my aging Roland Micro Cube based on glowing online reviews. More than satisfied on every count: Sound, build quality, design, features, packaging, portability, all at a steal price! The included power supply is a bonus. The 3'' speakers produce enough volume for a medium sized room, even without connecting the second cab. The sound is notably clean and crisp. Highly recommend for beginners and practice use.

Great Product.

First off, this is a great little amp with good functions like Gain, EQ, OD and Time delay controls. The sound is really good on this amp and it is loud enough for a small gig. However, the only problem I faced was with the included power supply (AC - DC adaptor). It has some sort of ground loop issue that causes an unbearable static and humming noise. When I power this unit through the battery, there is obviously no issues. The issue pops-up only when connected via the included power adaptor. I see this is some model called Lyangel 6.5 V 1.5 A PSU I intended to use this amp as a computer speaker so I could play and monitor through Guitar Rig 6 Pro software. The moment I power it on, the rumbling noise starts up and the weird part is that, the rumbling static noise varies in accordance to the mouse movement :). I had the grounding verified for the power outlet that powers all devices on my computer side, so no issues there. It is something with this power adaptor's grounding anomaly. So, good news is that I chucked this adaptor and bought a very cheap 9 Volts 1 Amp DC adaptor from amazon and voila there is no humming with the cheap adaptor (Rs. 190). I cannot guarantee its longevity considering the price, but I felt the quality was alright and I hope it lasts for sometime. Blown away with this tiny amp. Does everything that a amplifier should do. Must buy if you want something portable but with good tones. Features like ISF and delay is so good. Well the reviews about this stuff wasn't hyped abit. Got it a steal for rs.7890 for the pack .. Get with the extension cabinet. It comes with adapter,sounds big enough for a small room.can use to listen to music. Don't even crank it up to half it's capability.

I bought the dual one but feels even one would do. Have always used the power adapter instead of batteries. Cool thing is there's a jack for plugging in our own music to jam along.

Small amp but awesome. I don't have to use two speakers one is enough. Both clean & distortion sounds are great. Value for money.

A little gasp to see "Made in China" for the delivered product after spending hours on Amazon.com website and reading UK and international reviews. Blackstar is a UK company, right? Right, but seems they have given license for Chinese to manufacture these speaker-amplifiers. Grrr! Is it only for this small FLY3PAK or for the entire range of blackstar products? I don't know for sure. But before buying, please check for yourselves. Anyways, product is good, and works as per specification. Loud enough for a 10x10 m silent hall without OD (overdrive). We in India expect prices to be cheap, if Made in China. Right? Right. Should be made clear both in product details and website by Amazon. A lapse that cost one star!

I bought these stereo amp a month after watching almost 10-15 reviews on youtube. This is an amazing practice amp and loud enough to handle all kind of shredding. I mostly play metal and use zoom g2 1u processor and this amp has easliy delivered the type of tone I want. The patented eq works great for my kind of music. This amp is best for clean channel and also music played via aux sounds great and well balanced. 4 stars coz heavy gain and over drive used simultaneously was not upto my expectation, but that's something personal taste. Highly recommended
