The wood was quite a bit punkier than one would expect. Design and assembly match the description. Wood quality questionable.

It's exactly what I wanted ... very rustic! I was surprised the top doesn't have any hinges, it just comes off like a regular "lid" ... but it works for me and it goes with the whole "rustic" feel. :)
