Comfortable for flat-footed big guy
My efforts to find Saucony Guide 14 shoes on Amazon in size 14 has gotten tougher and tougher. I always liked those because of the hard plastic support built into the instep that was wonderful for keeping plantar fasciitis at bay. I finally decided to move on with my life and try something new... purchased a pair of Guide 18s.In short: these are comfortable shoes with decent arch support (note: I don't have much of an arch, so the moderate built in arch support is sufficient) ... and that is further facilitated by the generous and forgiving midsole. These shoes are my daily drivers, and I spend all day on my feet walking on hard surfaces and stairs. So far, so good. This model is a bit more narrow than the older Guide 14s or 15s, the toe box is on the smaller side, and they do NOT have that hard plastic insert that kept the shoe from flexing twisting. I'm doing a lot less trail running than 10 years ago, and more "campus stair walking"-- so it's working out. If I was running 1/2 marathons or 10Ks, I would definitely go up a size to account for foot swelling and wider, flatter feet.Black is a pretty neutral color, and these are not flashy like some of those combo Chernobyl Orange and Three Mile Island Green designs of the past. Modest for work, and functional for LISS, dog walking, hill walking, and treadmill at the gym.A couple weeks in and the "There's Something About Mary" smile white of the midsole and sole are definitely showing the dirty world I tread. However, the soles are holding up pretty well so far. We will see if these wear in the usual spots for an overpronating dude of 6'3".Happy with my purchase, better price than any local running shoe store.

Excellent support
Bought these as a gift for my dad's birthday and he loves them. They are true to size and fit him perfectly. He often needs additional insoles added, but these ones are so supportive and comfortable that he can wear them as is. The design is simple and looks good, with the all black uppers and white bottoms. The laces are long enough and have held up well. The have good grip, offering traction and added support, while being very lightweight. I will definitely order another pair for him in the future.

Now my favorite walking shoe.
I have previously rated the Brooks Ghost series as my favorite. But I had a problem. I have a 13 EE foot and in that size and width Brooks has few color choices. So I asked the Grok AI platform what would be another choice for me. They suggested three Saucony models. The other two Saucony were good but the Guide was great. I'm elderly and want something soft for striking the ground, and stable. I want good comfort. The Guide 18's were a 10 across the board. But the best part - they offer some nice colors. I bought the white, pictured, and people have commented on how nice they look.

Sneakers 👟
My first pair of Saucony, a friend recommended 👌, very light weight and comfortable for running 🏃♀️ or walking.Definitely will buy them again it feels like walking on clouds, no impact so ever. Very happy with purchasing, also breathable. Highly recommended, if you are looking for comfortable this'll get the job done .Totally in love with them.

Great fit, very supportive, soles are not made to last.
(while taking pictures for this review I saw how bad the wear is on the soles hence my nice words but 1 star.)I got these after an article I read said they were really good for people who overpronate. (I have what appears to be a lovely arch. Complete fricken collapse, I have the flattest of flat feet)I had started trying to walk, and between crap arches, the shoes direly needing to be tightened, and my trying to walk fast by stepping further, I got shin splints. Not wanting to be deterred, I did some poking around and landed on these. And I love them. Before I got these I got some better inserts for my other shoes, and they do make a difference, but man, after wearing these, even the better arches in those feel weak. I feel so much more secure in these shoes. I only wear them when walking though. (Partly so I don't have to change them as often, partly cause I'm disabled, so kizicks are more my speed) I would wear them all the time if not for wanting to not have to change them out too often. I can't afford the recommended change as is, so. But they just feel so good on my foot. My arch feels so supported, they don't feel too hard, but not too soft.Speaking of, due to them needing to fit well, do be prepared for the joy of the weird way the laces are, laced. It's a bit of a pain loosening them to get them on (almost even off) but again, I'm spoiled and used to slipping my shoes on and off. Laces are nice and long. Too long even. I loosely double lace them so I don't step on them while walking.Tops are a thick mesh so breathable. And if they get wet, so will your feet. They are, of course, on the expensive side, in my opinion. But I paid this much for my kizicks as well (I'd say there was a gimmick I was paying for there, but I'm paying for really good support here, as well as them being walking/running shoes) With stupid times comes stupid prices. And honestly, considering some of the prices you see looking around at athletic shoes, these are cheap. So I'd say, super limited budget aside, that these are a great deal.Took some pictures to show the cat damage and the basic wear on the shoes and I dunno, does that wear seem excessive for having had the shoes for, oof. Less than a month? That's. Bad. Tee hee, there go all the stars I was giving these. Jeeze. That's bad. I'd love these shoes if the soles weren't apparently made of foam caulk.

Comfortable, Supportive, and Great Value
I’ve been wearing the Saucony Men’s Guide 18 running sneakers for a couple of years now, and they’ve been excellent. They’re extremely comfortable and versatile enough for both everyday wear and running.I have fallen arches, and these shoes completely eliminated the calf pain I used to get when running, which was a huge improvement for me. The support and stability are spot on without feeling stiff or heavy. They’re also very durable — mine have held up well over time — and the price makes them an outstanding value for the quality you’re getting. I would absolutely buy them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, supportive running shoe.

Best running shoe ever!!!
Sold in stores for $150, I paid $99. Incredible and true to size. I wear an 11 2e and I purchased an 11 wide. I went to Fleet Feet to get my correct computer mapped size. Perfect!!!

Calidad y comodidad..

Great Fit
I've had Saucony Guides for over a dozen years. They always been terrific. My last ones lasted for over 3000 km - mind you, I was jogging/fast walking on a soft, spongy indoor track. My new ones felt a bit stiff for the first two weeks but now they feel just fine. They fit great.
