I wanted plug in lights, not solar, but had found other lights of this length very expensive. Took a chance, and although the bulbs are a little smaller than I expected, they look brilliant.I have one string suspended under a pergola and the option to dim the lights is really good. They go down very low and soft which is great for chillin in the garden but up to quite a reasonable light when on full.They look bright white when unlit but when switched on the are a soft warm white.So far I am very pleased, just need to see how they stand up to the British weather. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice lights *by K***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 December 2020* Pleasantly surprised at how much I like these lights and think they are great for what I paid at £12.70. I have festooned our front hedge with them and they look good - bright and cheerful. There are various light modes you can choose, depending on how much you like your neighbours. We happen to like ours so I have the lights on a gentle wave but you could have them going like the clappers and annoy everybody. The remote is dinky and works through the window. Not sure the little control box thing in the lead should be protected from the elements or not but I have wrapped it up and sheltered it anyhow. Would be better if this was not so close to the end of the lights so you can properly protect it. Good lights though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice lights for the price, happy to be outside in the snow and rain *by G***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 December 2022* I've plugged these in inside and run the wire through the window which still closes and locks OK - there's a few feet of flex before the lights start.Nice warm yellow / orangey light, and a decent length (the ones I bought this year were a bit shorter than last year's - I have both of these running). Last year's remote operates this year's lights, so nice to have a spare. The 100 LED set was about seven quid in the early Autumn, then the price doubled in December.Downside is the bulky plug, which wouldn't be much use in an outside plug socket. Poor instructions - you have to work out what the different light patterns are by trying each number - I've just left ours on as a constant light rather than some tacky flashing effect. And sometimes seems a bit tricky to get the remote to function (though it helps if you remember to aim it at the plug and not at lights themselves!) Having set the pattern you like, or set the lights as static, then the next time you switch them on it remembers your preference, which is neat.
