Incredible knife for cutting all things soft. Cheese, cake, eggs, tomatoes, avocado etc. Won't cut skin. Must have in the kitchen.

This knife is AWESOME! I bought it November 16th 2015 and finally used it. I used it to cut a block of Cracker Barrel extra sharp cheddar cheese and after cutting the first few slices I thought I got a bad block. I was impressed that nothing stuck to the knife but I thought I got a bad block of cheese, that it was going to be soft. I was extremely surprised to find out it was as hard as it was supposed to be. And if you know anything about sharp, extra sharp and seriously cheeses, they can break apart when you're cutting them sometimes but not with this knife. The knife went through that hard cheese like a block of soft cheese and it stuck to nothing, this is the best cheese knife ever!!! I'm so glad I found it. I just can't say enough good things about it... Buy it, you WON'T be disappointed.

I thought I was buying the kind of original cheese knife that I current have for a gift but it turns out it is small. I offered to send back and get a bigger knife but the person said it was fine that they don't have a ton of large cheeses to slice through. I thought I had gotten the bigger sized one. In the ad it doesn't really specify the dimensions of the blade and handle. by the picture I would assume it was the bigger knife. The knife works great for cutting and I would recommend it but if you want or are expecting a bigger blade, ask questions.

The “knife” works great. The ridges seem to keep the cheese from gluing itself to the side of the knife. But the knife is very thin plastic. I’ve used it twice and I have two spots where the edge shows curling damage. I would buy this knife again……if it were make of steel.

This knife works, and it works great. Everyone who has seen it used has asked where I got it. They have since ordered their own, or asked for them as a gift (Christmas, etc...) I was tired of cheese sticking to the sides of my very nice kitchen knives. As sharp as they are, cheese is that one ingredient that just doesn't work well with standard knives. It is easy to cut thin slices with this new knife. The blade does not get gummed up at all. I have used it on many cheeses, from soft to hard. The fins on the side are the trick. They help the cheese slice peel away as the knife is passing through the cheese. Very nice design. It is very light, and feels a little "toyish" but it really does the job. Highly recommended. We always hand wash, which is easy because typically there is very little, to nothing, sticking to the blade.

This is our second such knife. I love how it cuts cheese clean and straight when new, but these are just not durable enough. After a few months of regular use they make a clean, but very meandering, cut through a block of cheese.

Best cheese knife. Bought for presents also as everyone who sees us use it wants to know where to buy. I wash in dishwasher on top third rack.

Works fine but it’s very small. It’s hard to hold cause it so small. Does a great job cutting cheese but it’s a bit flimsy.

It's job is to cut cheese without sticking - it can't do that. It could barely cut. Cheese comes out all wonky in thickness. It's so fragile and brittle it feels like it will snap in an instant. And then the cheese sticks, not even sticky type cheese, but it sticks. I wanted to love this knife. I've had an incredible cheese knife (that looks similar) that unfortunately isn't being produced any more and I've bought a metal one here that is ok-ish but I wanted another great one and thought this would be it. Sadly, it was not to be and this will probably be another poorly made item that sits in a drawer, collecting dust.

This is not like my original cheese knife. When cutting creamy cheese it sticks to the blade. My original cheese knife did not stick. I also bought a large knife which does not stick.
