Teaching Children to Read: The Teacher Makes the Difference

The book was in good quality. I liked that it was paperback.

If you are starting a career in ELA and teaching, pick this book up. With everything going on in the ELA and schools, this is a great tool to have to help along the way. How to prepare students to read (even in upper grades too), think of ways to help, and monitoring progress. My opinion is to substitute first but you may not have access to running records or what you may not know. Things that will need when you have your own classroom. Excellent read.

Not interesting (at all), doesn’t explain well, and apparently you should have an access code that you buy with it to access the videos. Right now the most I have access to are the “play these videos” PRINTED in the text book... “yes holds on let me just push play on my textbook...”. Textbook did arrive in good condition however.

I ordered a new book that costed me $100 and it came in torn, 😡

I have never bought books with tags for its previous uses still on there. I was disappointed with that, especially after paying 60 bucks for a fairly new book..
