They are very handy little floats. They are well made and do the job. They are ment for connecting to water or fluid that is under pressure.if you are using them to use in a rain barrel They will work except it will take a while to fill. Under pressure like a tap, faucet, etc it will work well. I am happy with the 2 that I purchased.
