Cards have improved her reading skills and phonics as well! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT a toy, but serious help in reading *by T***Y on June 20, 2013* We were asked to raise an 8 yr old grandson who has some serious issues. At 8, he couldn't read and could barely write. It wasn't his fault as medications had dulled his abilities. We took him off all meds, got him off all sugar and started to work on his reading. We found we had to start from scratch. Phonics helped him learn to sound out words and figure out what words might sound like. We bought these sight words cards to help him with words that don't follow the rules. They were very helpful and he caught on quickly.
