It also helps clean some food particles stuck inside the gums skin near the tooth. Flossing is an excellent habit and helps clean all food particles that are left behind after brushing. Compared to those, I found this to be : 1. Much more gentle and smooth (hence safe for enamel between teeth, if damaged which can cause sensitivity issue) 2. Non-flavored, didn't exactly like the flavored ones anyway 3. Reasonably priced (quite cheap if you ask me) 4. Wider. The previous products I've used were not as wide s this one. A wider floss makes cleaning between the teeth much easier. 5. Product from a reputed manufacturer. A Word of Caution :: improper use of Dental floss may lead to damaging the dental enamel and can cause tooth sensitivity. Either check on YouTube videos on "how to use dental floss " or see the instructions on the back of the pack to know how to use it gently and properly.
