Will this strip 9/125 single mode fiber?

This three hole stripper will also remove up to 3mm jacket. Each hole strips down a different part of the fiber: 1.6 to 3mm jacket, 600 to 900 micron coating, 250 micron coating down to the 125 micron cladding. There are guides next to each hole to show what part of the cable it strips. 125 micron is the standard cladding diameter for telecom fiber. This tool will work with both single mode and multi mode glass fiber.

What size allen wrench is needed to adjust set screw?

使いやすいです。

日本ではあまり聞きませんがアメリカでは有名なメーカーらしいです。光ファイバーの融着作業時に使用しています。形・使用感含めて日本の融着機メーカーが出している物と遜色ないです。他の工具で黄色のグリップはあまり見たことがないので一瞬で見分けられそうなところもお気に入りポイントです。

1本でコード被覆、1次被覆、2次被覆全て剥ける

フジクラのジャケットストリッパーを使っていましたが、ケーブルやコードの種類によってきれいに剥けない事が多々あり困っていました。そこで色々物色していると海外での評判が良かったこの商品を発見。さっそく購入して試しに使ってみると今までの困りごとが一発で吹き飛びました。何よりフジクラのジャケットストリッパーと比べて価格は1/12以下。どの程度使い続けられるかという問題はありますが、10回買い換えてもフジクラのジャケットストリッパーより安いし用途が広いのでしばらくこれを使ってみようと思います。ただしフジクラのホットジャケットストリッパーと比べると、もちろんフジクラに軍配が上がるのは間違いありません。
