Texture and taste
Didn’t want to drive 2 hours for fresh ones and wanted to give these a try but even after warming them up in the oven(like suggested) didn’t help. The egg yolks are extremely dry and crumble when you cut them. The paste was ok but the texture of the egg yolk made it impossible for me to finish eating one.

Where's the salt
The lotus past and flaky pastry was okay, but the yolks were supposed to be salty and were not salty at all and were extra dry. Would not repurchase.

Expensive but so worth it
I could literally eat these every day. They are wonderful and perfectly textured.

Best egg pastry
Original Canton style egg pastry is the best. This item tasted authentic, no extra spices, no fusion stuff, did not try to be modern, just down to earth traditional ingredients and taste. Also ingredients are fresh. Perfect moisture level. Skin is fully baked and perfectly.
