I installed the TORRAS privacy screen protector on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, and it’s easily one of the better ones I’ve used. The installation was simple and it lined up perfectly with the screen without bubbles. The privacy feature actually works well. When you’re looking straight at the phone the display is clear and sharp, but from the side it darkens quickly, which is great when you’re using your phone in public. The glass feels solid and smooth it doesn’t affect touch sensitivity or Face ID at all. It still feels like you’re using the actual screen. The full coverage design also protects the edges nicely. I also like that it comes with two in the pack, so you have a backup if you ever need it. Overall it feels durable, looks clean, and gives good privacy protection without sacrificing screen quality. Definitely worth it.

This protector totally saved my phone. While in the garage, I dropped a heavy tool which landed on my phone. The protector shattered but the screen below didn't shatter. The screen was impacted but acted like a failed screen, not a broken one. I was able to get it replaced under manufacturer warranty for free. Without the protector the screen would have been shattered. I just ordered a new protector for the replaced screen. Other than that, it's a typical protector ... it fits, it's a pain to put on (like all protectors), and there are no issues with using the phone with it on. The privacy function is nice to keep seatmates on flights focused on their world instead of mine.

I feel bad about writing a one-star review for a company that has consistently provided me with great products. Torras cases will always be my go-to, but screens—never again. Even at a discounted price, it was a difficult decision to make, and it’s even harder now that I’m disappointed with its functionality. From the start, the screen was so slick that it would fall out of pockets easier and slide right off my night stand which meant I couldn’t put my phone face down to sleep. Worse off, the screen wasn’t responsive. Texting was a SLOG and there were multiple times where I had to transfer something I was doing to finish it on a different device. Moving on to crack resistance- also a no go. I had the phone between my legs, but being so slippery, it slipped and lightly tumbled 2 feet, and landed on the face. See photo. Cracked, chipped, etc. I assure you, I’ve purchased and have experienced many screens nothing has ever been this bad. Given the price point, I tried to suck it up. The screen cracked on 19 days. I could only tolerate 21 days. The pros: it was easy to install and there weren’t any bubbles.
