How will i know which wire is postive and negative?** A: the leads are not marked but this is not a problem. in my case, I found the hot / positive 12 volt wire and connected / interrupted that same wire with the switch to allow current to flow to the 12V light when it was in the ON position but not flow thru the switch when in the Off position. a simple 12 volt test light or very basic volt meter will be helpful for this purpose. good luck with your project, hope this helps **Q: What is the depth of the threaded section?
