PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Mineral Oil

i never knew that i needed to maintain my wood cutting boards and cooking utensils. but as they got drier and drier over time, i thought that they didn't look like the ones professional chefs use and keep for decades -- why? and also, my favorite cutting board - perfect size and thickness for me, with a hook at the end that makes it easy to store anywhere/anyhow i want - not only was getting so dry and developing a crack, i thought maybe i could just douse it with a cooking oil and see what happens? then I cut a bunch of onions on it and i couldn't get the smell out. it reeked no matter what i tried - baking soda/vinegar, soaking it in hot soapy water, applying dish soap over and over to keep it moist. sad, i looked up how to maintain these things. i came across this stuff. i soaked the board in this oil over and over - i applied a thick layer 4 times to each side and it completely soaked in each time. it looked so much better and washed up great. thank goodness! it still smelled like onions, though, so to finish the process i applied a thick layer of Clark's Cutting Board Finish Wax on both sides for 24 hours and then washed it off. SAVED!! the wood is in great shape and the board smells awesome now. it's clearly protected now from liquids and smells from food. i cut onions on the board this morning and it washed up perfectly-- YAY!! thank you!! working on all my other boards and the utensils now.

I know this will sound strange, but I bought this because I needed 6 mineral oil enemas for surgeries I was to have. Price of ONE mineral oil enemas was more than cost of this this product. It worked splendidly and now I have left overs for other uses.I mixed this oil with warm water. Gosh, what a genius idea! Worked very well, even used it for colonoscopy prep! Don't get all grossed out, nothing dirty, not even my hands, ever touched the Bootle or contents so it is perfectly safe for other uses. Not that I know what they are, other than my mother used it for a,laxative way back 65 years ago. I thought it yucky then and still do! 😏

This product was bought to "season" our new bamboo topped kitchen island, and it look lovely. We also tried it on our unsealed granite counters, and it seems to work there, too. THE best thing to keep your stainless steel appliances from having fingerprints on. I wipe ours with this stuff once a week.

I just bought a nice new bamboo cutting board and read that it's important to season them first. After a quick search on how to do this I realized I needed to order Mineral Oil. This products was perfect. The price is reasonable compared to other options and it's a small enough container that I did not have to buy five years worth of it. I did an initial two coatings and watched it absorb wonderfully into the bamboo. I still have about 80% of the bottle left so it should last well over a year with monthly seasoning.

Enough oil to keep your wood cutting boards in prime shape indefinitely! Ditch your plastic boards and use this product to keep you wood cutting board in prime shape!

Bought this as it is food grade and we are putting up new bird houses and wanted to provide weather protection to the outside and also protect the inside of the bird houses from nesting damage. Applied two heavy coats till wood did not want to soak up more. Additional benifit is it makes the natural wood have more color. This will not hurt the birds as it is food grade.

Just what we needed for our wood cutting board.

Works great on my knives. Much better than vegetable oil which turns rancid. Only complain is that the bottle was leaking in the package when I received it. Not sure how.
