Classic lighter

It is great build and finished quality is amazing Good product and sounds good as it should havy and fit finished is better than classic’s this is my 3rd lighter. zippo India is also good cheak out there web page and it has classics sounds of zippo

This is the second Zippo I bought from Amazon, and it was satisfactory to the tee. I had to return my original Black Matte one since the hinge on it was loose, because I didn't have time to get that rectified by Zippo, what with Zippo offering it's lifetime warranty on all of its lighters. "It works, or we fix it for free.™" Lighter quality was top notch. The polish was uniform, and it felt slightly sharp, even. Daily wear and tear would make it how it was designed to be- A classic lighter with no frills, just the authentic charm of a Zippo in your palm. The Zippo arrived in a small black box complete with the Zippo warranty card, and a child safety sticker stuck on it that marks a brand new Zippo, packaged neatly in a white Amazon polythene bag. Adequate protection in transit, nothing went wrong thankfully. Pros: * They call it windproof, and it excels. Even in the breeziest of conditions, the flame only bent, never went out. * The lighter's built to withstand serious abuse. I've owned these before, and they were really don't break or stop functioning even when treated roughly/accidentally flung around. This particular lighter was even flung once, and just sustained a few dents, and nothing else. The third attached shows the only damage this lighter ever showed, even after flinging it full-strength. * Includes a new wick and flint pre-installed, just fill fuel and you're good to go until they run out (Wick gets burnt/flint disappears) * Easy to service and maintain. No need to even give it to the local panshop guy, just do it yourself, it's pretty easy servicing a Zippo. * Flip it out of your pockets, and everybody notices the click. ;) The bronze and non-coated Zippos are the loudest clickers. Cons: * The fuel would only last 3 days, 5 if you're lucky and the lighter's insert is an especially snug-fitting one. It's how these lighters function, and require refueling every 3-4 days. Flints last about two weeks-a month, depending on usage frequency. The wick lasts a solid month or two. * The lighter is smaller than the images shown on the website. If you're a new buyer, keep in mind that these fit in an area smaller than your palm. I'd be nitpicking if I had to come up with more, as Zippos have quirks, they can't be qualified as cons. If you're a collector and don't actually use them, then the cons would be a non-issue for you. Hope this review helped! I bought this product in 2014, but didn't get to review it until now.

I have always wanted to own an original zippo ever since I saw an old one a relative of mine had. Really awesome to finally own one.

Mind Blowing Xperience

Original Zippo lighters are known for their brand, sound and model !! Though i don't smoke, i bought this just to double it as lighter to light fire, and also the open/close the classic way and will never get you bored with that classic flint sound !! I also uploaded a video comparing original Zippo lighter with fake cheap ones, check for the distinct zippo sound difference.

IT is a Zippo and the classic brushed chrome that they used to supply to armed forces in world war 2 days ....absolutely delighted with this classic better than even the all chrome one !!! Would like to share lighters are banned from courier flights and so i had quite a time getting it !!!!

As always, the Amazon experience was Amazing! :) The lighter was an authentic one, and was delivered within a day. It was a completely sealed pack and the quality of material being used to craft the original Zippo's reflected well in the build of the lighter. This classic replica is definitely worth a collection!

There is nothing I can add -- so much info already on web. Just one thing -- I don't smoke but i carry this as edc -- when i go to party or outdoors -- people come to me and ask for lighter -- its a good conversation starter.. when you are meeting new people. Great survivor gear...

Great product from Zippo as always. I'd highly recommend removing the rayon balls and repacking the insert with Cotton Bacon instead. You can buy this on amazon for about £5 (with plenty to spare). This will absorb more lighter fluid and will last significantly longer without refilling, it's been well over a week since I've had to refuel. This combined with Zippos high quality, iconic history, pop culture, etc. makes this a great EDC lighter overall.

Dixième Zippo acheté sur Amazon, celui-ci a été acheté auprès du vendeur " Magasin de Plein Air " que je recommande. C'est LE Zippo standard en laiton chromé, finition entièrement polie, ici dans sa version 1935, dont Zippo a fait une réplique exacte, donc une superbe qualité de fabrication et pratiquement indestructible. Ici, c'est la version décorée par quatre tirets obliques ( Slashes ) de chaque coté du briquet. Les différences avec les Zippo modernes sont : 1 / Couvercle moins haut et plat, non bombé. 2 / Fond plat. 3 / Fixations de charnière de couvercle apparentes à l'extérieur du boîtier. 4 / Axe de charnière en trois parties au lieu de cinq parties. 5 / Axe de la roulette de pierre évidé et non plein. Bien entendu, le module essence de ce Zippo 1935 est parfaitement compatible avec les modèles 1941 et modernes. Ce Zippo est vendu à un prix très intéressant par rapport au prix marché moyen constaté ( Street price ), frais de port compris. Livré très rapidement dans sa boîte de présentation Zippo dont le couvercle carton est une réplique en relief de la boîte de 1935 avec " Windy / Venteuse ", la jeune femme qui allume une cigarette en plein vent et qui est la mascotte de la marque. Briquet Zippo fourni avec documentation en plusieurs langues dont le français et fabriqué à Bradford, Pennsylvanie - USA en janvier 2014. Marquage " A 14 " sous le briquet. Référence Zippo : " 1935 REPLICA W/SLASHES ". Poids 55 grammes. Garanti à vie. Satisfaction totale pour cet achat.
