Good remote point at tv directly
Work well - they must “point” at tv unobstructed and I can’t get a mic talk into on remote.

Great remote and works on a 2025 Samsung TV, too!
Perfect, high quality, replacement for original Samsung Remote, albeit this one is better than original if your parents are basically Luddites. Parents still have the original remote for new 2025 Samsung QN70F TV, but it is honestly too complicated, and they would constantly call me to complain about the voice control buttons (too easy to accidentally click on) and the fact that it is too slippery and small and it didn't have HULU as a primary button. So, after searching Amazon, I took a chance and bought this remote (even though it was not listed as compatible for the QN70F TV) and it turns out it worked perfectly without any fussy code inputs required. Note, this remote requires AAA batteries versus the Solar Cell on the original remote, but that was expected, and frankly better, since I also bought a neon, anti-slip glow-in-the-dark silicone sleeve that would have covered the solar cell on the original remote. In review, I give this remote 5 stars for out of the box compatibility to a new 2025 Samsung TV, it adds HULU as a primary button (along with NETFLIX, PRIME, & DISNEY+), it excluded the voice capabilities as desired, it uses AAA batteries instead of Solar, and with the extra purchase of the neon silicone sleeve it is easy to hold and find now!

It works! I like it.<smile>
Arrived today. Instructions clear, easy to set up. Worked with Roku t.v. The leaflet is normal readable size on normal paper which is a plus. It clearly defines all the keys, and they all work. It is now possible to use numbers to select OTA channels - why I was replacing the remote that arrived with the t.v. Good value compared to similar remote controls that included buttons functions I did not want. Much easier to hold on to then the small one that arrived with the t.v.

A Tale of Mixed Impressions
My experience with the Universal Replacement Remote for Samsung TV has been a blend of both satisfaction and frustration, and here's my perspective on the highs and lows: Ease of Pairing Delight (4/5): Initially, the ease with which I paired this remote with my Samsung TV brought a sense of relief. The process was straightforward, and I appreciated the simplicity in setting it up. Affordability Charm (4/5): The affordability of this replacement remote is undoubtedly one of its strongest points. It didn't break the bank, offering a cost-effective solution to my need for a replacement. Unresponsive Blues (2/5): Unfortunately, the honeymoon phase was short-lived. The responsiveness of the remote has been a significant source of disappointment. It often feels sluggish, with delayed reactions to button presses, leaving me frustrated during my TV navigation. Connectivity Quirks (2/5): Connecting to my Samsung TV is an exercise in patience. The lag in connectivity has been a consistent issue, and it's disheartening to wait for the remote to catch up with my commands. Mixed Bag of Button Woes (3/5): The buttons on the remote are hit or miss. While some work flawlessly, there are instances where certain buttons seem unresponsive. It adds an unpredictable element to the overall usability. Quality and Performance Ambivalence (3/5): The overall quality and performance of the remote leave me in a state of ambivalence. While it serves its purpose at a basic level, the inconsistency in button functionality and delayed responses tarnish the overall experience. Ease of Use Contrast (2/5): In contrast to other customers' experiences, I find the ease of use lacking. The operational hiccups overshadow the initial simplicity, making the overall user experience less enjoyable. In conclusion, the Universal Replacement Remote for Samsung TV has its merits in affordability and easy setup, but its struggles with responsiveness and connectivity have overshadowed the positive aspects. While it may work well for some, my personal journey with this remote has been a mixed bag of highs and lows. Here's to hoping for improvements in future iterations, balancing cost-effectiveness with enhanced performance.
