Goodnight Mister Tom : Magorian, Michelle: desertcart.in: Books Review: Kaafi hi crazy book! - I am not usually a thriller/horror kind of girlie, so I thought twice before picking this book, but I am so glad I did. From page 1- it keeps you hooked. The story follows Ramakrishna, a 41-year-old humble master ji, who also works as a counsellor. He falls in love with his counselee, and they decide to get married. But just as he’s sorting out their living situation, he returns to find his wife dead. Driven by shock, grief and rage, Ramakrishna is determined to avenge the death of his wife. The book explores themes of psychology, revenge, and how grief can turn into madness. At multiple points the book gets really grotesque - so consider this a warning for the faint hearted. The book has been written from two different points of view which adds depth to the narrative. Thriller/suspense novels generally prioritise plot over character, but in this book I also got to understand the internal workings of the characters - a pleasant surprise The book reads super fast, in fact the mystery build up is so well done, that I kept reaching for this book even between my chores/work. If you are in a reading slump this book will snap you right out of it. Review: Favourite book ever! - ‘’If I don’t read a book soon I think I’ll explode.’’ Carrie, please don’t expose me!!!! (Damn!) My heart is still breaking thinking about the neglect, abuse and abandonment. Triggering at parts and most disturbing I would say, the book is actually perfect. You will love Tom. He’s the perfect adult character of all time for me! I just wish every adult to be this giving, caring and nurturing towards every child. You will also get to know one of the worst mothers ever. Not going to tell the story all over again. I would just recommend you to pick up this book and feel all there’s the feel about a very much neglected/abandoned child, the child healing slowly, the way a community helps in the healing process as and when the child facing PTSD effects. The writing is really good! Hope everyone gets to read this book. The adult reading the book will get to learn to be more kinder and understanding towards children. The child reading this book will get to learn the difference between when an adult misbehaves and when an adult actually cares. This book! Zach, I will always remember you. You are one the best souls I have ever come to know.

Most boring book ever
My exam was on this. My exam was 60% of my grade. I still don’t read the book. Better fail than reading this trash. The story is the worst. Dosen’t even make sense. Every word of this book was agonising. Please don’t buy.

I enjoyed the book so much. I watched the televised version first but must admit the book had much more content. Such a good read....so sad in places.

Ein gutes Buch auch für Erwachsene . Weil.......jeder könnte so etwas auch selbst erlebt haben.

Though it is considered a children’s book, I would recommend this to be read together, as there are some hard scenes featuring severe abuse that are not modern child friendly, but other than that it is an absolutely wonderful and heart warming story. 10/10 would recommend

Goodnight Mister Tom est un livre émouvant et captivant. L’histoire est touchante et bien racontée, avec des personnages attachants. Une lecture que je recommande vivement.
