ZAAP(USA) Easy Vent One (3rd Generation) Premium Car Mount

What is unique to this product is the sticky gel applied to the suction cup. This aids the holder to be attached to a surface - be it smooth (glass) or textured (dash board). I have been using this for the past two weeks and this does the job really well. I had it mounted both on the windscreen (to shoot a drive around video) and on the dash and it holds my Samsung Note 3 firmly in place. Yes there is a bit of vibration, but that's mostly due to the bad roads and the strong vibrations from the Safari engine. People who drive around Tata Safari would understand what I mean here. The grips have a soft rubber applique where it comes in contact with the side of the phone and also on the bottom support. This will ensure a superior grip and no damage to your phone. This is better than foam, as the rubber provides enough friction to hold the phone in place yet is gentle on your device. The over all built quality is very good and is what one would except at this price point. The screws to adjust the angle and the telescopic arm both feel sturdy and last the distance. The quick touch mount /un mount system is very effective and easy to use. If i were to highlight one thing that i would have liked better is the over all length of the cradle. It would have been a lot better if it had a tad bit more height to accommodate phones the size of Note 3.After ordering the item, I read the negative reviews on Amazon and was little fazed by the choice I made. But trust me, I'm not giving this a 5* rating to get the 'free usb' cable, I have plenty at home. This is genuinely a good product, and I hope my review would help my fellow Amazon users to make the better choice.

This is an excellent and perfectly as per expectation phone holder for ur car. The sticky base pad ensures the foundation is real strong. The quality of plastics used is commendable. 4 stars is because of 3 issues- the price is too high even if product quality is great. ₹800-900 would be a justified price for this. Secondly, in cars with deeper dashboard like mine, the length of extendable arm which holds the phone isn't that long. A better extension arm length would be very nice for such vehicles. Thirdly, there is only one supporter at the lower side for the phone. Two of those would give a good ground for the phone. Otherwise, extremely happy with the product. It does add to the car's aesthetic appearance. Really suffi looking item !!! Good buy !!

The day I received the packing I started unboxing it with an assumption that this is going to be just like the many phone mounts I have used in my car - may be a little better or may be not. I was impressed by the way it was packed. Once I got through the layers of protective packing and got my hands on this product I realized that it is much different from what I was used to. The quality was superb, it was not too heavy and when gently placed on a surface it was very well balanced. There was this "Made in Korea" marking on the sticky gel pads which is a sign of quality because I have been used to so many cheap China products that anything other than China would make believe in the better quality aspect. (P.S Would be happy to see a Made in India). The most important parts of this mount are the GEL PADS and the HOLDER. Both these have been spot on in terms of quality. When I removed the protective layer on the gel pad I realized that it had a sticky layer like an adhesive but not an adhesive. I was very careful at picking the spot on my dash board where I wanted to fix this as my first impression convinced me that once this thing grapples to something it is not going to let go easily. I chose the flattest surface possible on the dash because curvature may work against the vacuum. My car dash is not a glossy one, it has a leathery pattern to it and I was not sure how this thing is going to remain on it, The moment I gently placed this mount on the car dash I realized that it already stuck to the dash pretty strongly - thank fully I was too careful in placing it because I wanted it to be perfect in the first go. Once I was fine by the placement position I pushed down the lever to enable vacuum suction and it became one with the dash. There was no way I could remove it from my dash at all. The phone holder had soft non slippery rubber padding on the inside and the holder opened up very widely to accommodate my 5.7" Phone with an Otter Box case which makes it a bulky unit. my phone just slides in smoothly and stays there no matter how I drive. Indian roads can shake up our cars pretty badly and I have been on those roads with my phone stuck in this mound and I have never ever see my phone move a millimeter out of the position I wanted it to be. SO MY VERDICT IS THAT YOUR PHONE WILL SURVIVE A CAR CRASH EVEN THOUGH YOU MAY NOT - this mount is "Amazing" and I say this with my personal experience of owning a bunch of mounts that have always dropped my phone in the middle of a drive which distracted me and pissed me off. Trust me - you don't want your phone to go under your dusty seat when you are driving...!

After seeing ao many good reviews I bought this one. Plastic quality is good but not the best. Specially the two arms that hold the phone, quality could have been better. I own a one plus 3. And this holder is not best holder for one plus 3 or any other phone which has the charging point at the bottom center of the phone. The mobile holder will cover the charging hole if it is in the botttom of the phone and at the center. You can not charge the phone while it is in holder. Not good for long drives. The gel and suction is good. It will definitely hold the holder in place. Even on textured dashboard.

This is a must have for day to day drivers. The form factor is very compact and a must have for people who don’t want large mount blocking their view and cluttering the space. The suction cup is gel based and provide very strong adhesion on windscreen. Unfortunately my dash is curved so could not fix it there although tried it on my desk and have to admit that the suction bond is indeed quite strong. Easily holds onto my Oneplus one and no wobbling even on the pothole ridden roads of Mumbai. It seems extremely well built and gives an impression that it will stand test if time. The suction stays on even in extreme heat (my office parking is in the open). The overall good quality offsets the higher price point. If you want a really good car mount you can buy this without any doubts. If you are not conscious about the space do check out the Quicktouch One, for people who prefer something compact this is the best available option. PS: I was worried if the gel based suction surface would leave stains on the windshield but it doesn’t.

worst product do not buy at all. After some day it falls off automatically.

This product is just WOW! I've planted it on my car dashboard, which is not a perfectly even surface. Still, it sticks like a superglue even in this tropical climate where temperatures exceed 35 degrees often. It was sitting stable & strong for the past so many months since I bought it & I didn't get a chance to move it. Now, I bought a new mobile with a larger form factor & I had to re-position my mobile-holder. I undid the fasteners & tried to pull it out. O my! The adhesion was terrific. I had to pull it with all my might & it came off with a gooey, jelly stuff in the bottom, which was probably what was giving it the adhesive strength. Still, once it was off, it got in shape & got into that normal rubbery constitution of a suction cup. My new position is again on the dash, just above the A/C vent of my Swift - again, a slightly curvy surface. It's been one week & it's going great just as before. Apart from this flawless adhesive function, functionally, it is very robust. It's very versatile, with a folding joint with an angle of 0 to 180 degree + a rotation joint + the holding arm that can be extended. The button-press trigger that locks the device in place is very convenient as well. One design flaw or limitation is that the holder-flaps that press the mobile in place, cannot be moved up or down. This means, this may not be suitable for mobiles with volume or power buttons positioned at the same level as the flaps.

When I browsed through the photos of this product on Amazon, it looked very sturdy to me. And it actually is. Just started using it, within 24 hours I am writing this review. I must say its a great product. I got what I wanted and is absolute value for money. The packaging from factory was done quite well. The telescopic extension is a peace and even the ball-socket joint. The only concern is that the quick release mechanism is a bit complicated (by design point of view) and looks delicate. This thing CANNOT cling on to texutured surfaces as mentioned in the description. But the super sticky suction pad works wonders on glass. Just cling it on and rest assured, this thing will survive even the mightiest of Indian potholes. (At least with a light phone) *update after using it for a couple of still holds my phone well except that the suction mechanism has become lose. But no issues untill it holds my phone will.
