It catches fish like it was designed to.
I've never fished with live honey worms/maggots, but I have fished with this. First cast I made, I caught a huge rock bass. Second cast, I kid you not, I landed a 12" muskie on the same powerbait. Amazingly, the hook, bait, and line all survived. I managed a total of five fish on that single piece of bait before I lost the hook to a snag. No, I don't have a picture of the muskie -- I was fishing by myself and the minimum size for muskies is 40" this year, so I was more interested in getting it back in the water than I was in getting proof. I've used several in a few locations, and if anything's going to catch fish at a location, this seems to. I've landed rock bass, that muskie (okay, it was probably a fluke -- but it happened), largemouth bass, and have to admit I'm totally sold on this product. It catches fish, and I've yet to have a fish gut-hook itself on this bait. One thing to note, these are all in one long chain (55 worms, according to the label) in the jar. That's not any real issue, though, because the bait is so soft you can just cut them apart on the jar's edge. I seem to have better luck with two of these on the hook at the same time, though, so I just cut two at once and hook away. These are a little softer than I was expecting, but that's not really a bad thing. As the designer of PowerBait said, fish it until it's falling off the hook. The more torn up it is, the tastier it is to the fish striking it. ***EDIT 7/28/2015*** Went fishing tonight and caught a good-sized rock bass immediately after, and using the exact same honey worms on the same hook as, this brute. I'm not sure, but I think it measures up at 16". Too small to keep, but a nice fish all the same. Another victory for these honey worms!

Shocked and appalled
I’m shocked and appalled at how well these things work. I haven’t been fishing for even an hour and I’ve caught so many huge bluegill. I bought these as an alternative to worms when I forgot them, but they work nearly just as well! I get bites on nearly every cast and they are a blast to use with a 1/64 ounce jighead. I even caught a bowfin and my pb bluegill on these little grubs! All within the first hour of use. The only con is that they fall off the hook pretty easily, so I won’t be wacky rigging these any time soon. But after threading the plastic on the jughead, I like to penetrate the end so it stays on better. Edit: second day of use and I caught another bowfin on these witching the first 30 minutes or so; third day of use I caught my pb rock bass on these and more stud bluegill!

Fish like these
We use for Crappy and Perch fishing. These work great as scent and attraction. Stay on the hook and fish love them.

Crappie, Bluegill, Red Ear and other species love this!
Exactly as described. The little honey grub worms come in a handy, resealable container. The grubs are all strung together (from the mold) and you simply pull them off to use. Works best with an ultralight setup and 4lb test fishing line. I use a small hook and thread the grub on to cover the entire hook and shank with the tip barely exposed. This allows you to reuse the same grub, which many times comes off when you get a strike. The grubs are squishy and soft and have a nice scent. The white color works great in all water clarity; from dark, muddy water to clear water conditions. Berkley PowerBait has never let me down. Great value for bait that does not get your hand all dirty like live worms/grubs do and is reusable. Highly recommended if you're into speck, shell cracker fishing.

Already ordered another jar
The bream ate these up the other day. We used hook, split shot, and float. Put two or three of these on the hook at a time.

Great for panfish and teaching little kids how to fish without getting them mucky and dirty with live bait. Id still reccomend washing your hands after they smell kinda weird.

Habe diese Würmer beim letzten Forellen fiischen verwendet. Fängig, aber ziemlich rutschig beim auffädeln. Klare Kauf Empfehlung.

I’m so so on this product. I purchased it because I seen a similar product that I tried thanks to a friend. That product was in a solution in its bottle, this bottle has no solution in it so I don’t know if it’s dried out or meant to be that way. Fishing season opens in a week and I will try it then. We shall see if it works as well as the product my friend had, which by the way is made by the same company, but not the identical product, as I couldn’t find the identical bottle label. Hopefully it does.
