## Overview

The Joseph Joseph Delta Folding Nylon Potato Masher features a durable, curved nylon mashing plate that folds flat for compact storage. Its stainless-steel shaft includes a locking collar for secure use, while the non-slip handle offers comfort and control. Designed to fit bowl edges for efficient mashing, it’s dishwasher safe and ideal for non-stick cookware.

## Description

Conventional mashers can be awkward to store due to their long handle and mashing head that are fixed at right angles to each other. The Delta solves this problem as the head can be neatly folded flat after use. Before using, simply lock the mashing head in position with the small sliding collar located on the shaft. After use, slide the collar back up the shaft and secure it at the base of the handle. In addition to being easier to store, Delta is more efficient to use. Its curved mashing plate is designed to fit better into the edges of a pan or bowl, which means more potato is squashed with each plunge of the masher. Suitable for non-stick cookware. Dishwasher safe.

Review: It can go in a drawer!! - I love that this folds flat to be stored in a drawer. I agree with others about needing to be careful to make sure the crevices where it folds are very clean but it's easy to do that and worth being able to store it away without it getting stuck on the drawer. Works very well as a masher when it is locked into the open position, really glad to have found it.
Review: Scratchless Masher (not to be confused with a mashless scratcher) - Scratchless masher. Works just as well and quick as the others. Easy to clean. Fits in the drawer when folded and won’t do that annoying thing your ladles probably do and jam the drawer from opening. Quality as expected and the handle is soft.
