Mack's Silicone Earplugs - White - 6 Pair

These are genuine Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs from USA, except in USA they cost Rs 280 ($3.95) and here in India they cost Rs 1,039 ($14.60). I have been using them for over 20 years and they are my favorite earplug because there is no pain like the types that you have to put inside the ear canal. For these, you roll them into a ball and you press them on top of the ear opening and it creates a seal. I use them every night and they last about 2-3 weeks. Then they are too dirty and the stickiness goes away so I have to throw them and use a new pair. Like with all earplugs, the sounds do not go away entirely, but they are muffled so noise is easier to ignore.

Being used for both sleeping and swimming. I've been using it regularly. It took some time to get used to, but it works. After few weeks of using it everyday it bruised my inner ear a bit. I was misusing it though, I split in half, and stick it as hard as I can for maximum benefit. Probably a good idea to avoid using it everyday for a long time. All in all, it's the only product I've found that I can use here in India. Been serving me in Israel as well, when I first found about it.

It is written on the cover box of the earplugs that these are to be discarded after upto 5 uses, when these becomes non-sticy. This aspect has not been mentioned in the description of the website. Thus it is very very costly. It is non-returnable, otherwise I would have returned the packet.

Unfortunately, my home is now next to an Apartment Construction, and the activity generates all kinds of noise at all decibel levels - metal banging , loud thud sounds , high pitch humming , from 65 dB up to 90 dB. ( and they simply don’t care ). I have tried all kinds of noise cancellation solutions, over the last 10 months. 1. 3M Ear Plugs ( Orange ones ) 2. Loop Dream - Silicone Memory Foam 3. Active NC(ANC) Headphones 4. Mack’s Silicone Earplugs The only thing that works best( for me )are the Mack’s Silicone Earplugs. Below are pros/cons of Mack’s. Pros: —— 1. Blocks noise really well. 2. Fits the contours of ear very well - the silicone adapts to the shape of your ears. 3. Lesser discomfort compared to 3M, for long time wear. Cons: ——- 1. Gets dirty with use. Need to replace after 6-10 days of use , or lesser ( depending on usage) 2. Expensive. 6 pack pair costs ~ ₹ 1000 ( as of Mar 2026) What to Buy? ——————- 1. If are fed up with noise, and nothing you tried has worked well , and your mental sanity depends on effectively blocking the most noise, and you have highly sensitive hearing, buy Mack’s. 2. Next best thing to buy are the 3M plugs. ( orange ones) Don’t Buy ————- Avoid Loop Dream at all costs. ( Loop Dreams simply don’t work. ). Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Game changer for a peaceful sleep. Dont know why they are rated so poorly. Maybe internationally there are better products but my doctor recommended these and they have done wonders. Till I find a better product (maybe better fitment) these are the best!

Hi , i bought this one week before for my son who underwent ear surgery years back and advised not to allow water 💦 into the ear, so there on we are using multiple devices to prevent water entry to the ear but all devices has its disadvantages, so far we have used vaselline cotton balls, foam ear plugs, silicone swimming plugs,mack’s orange color silicone putty also …. None of them worked well but this white colour pillow soft putty is working fine , it fix with water tight , mould with ear curves, secured in position for duration…. I never used to review a product but I struggled a lot to prevent water entry for my kid and i believe it may help one of the parents like me…. Thank u Mack … Thank u amazon, i have attached some photos also which taken prior to apply , in position and after removal its mould…. Pros: fixing, water tight , secured, no water entry … not annoying to the wearer…. Cons : bit pricy ….. not sure about noise reduction since it is rendered for water protection only ....

One of the best and most comfortable earplugs i have ever tried. They mold perfectly according to my pinnae ( external ear ). It easily block the noise upto 20 decibels if molded properly covering all the crevices. It literally blocks the construction sound of a house being made next to mine so that i can study and sleep in peace. Highly recommend this to the people who would understand how to use these and benefit from them.

My roommate and I bought these because we moved into an apartment right next to a train crossing - the trains blow their whistles all night. We both noticed our sleep quality went down as we were waking several times a night. These earplugs have made a significant difference. You can still hear the trains when you're awake with the earplugs in, but they muffle the sound enough that it no longer wakes us up while we're sleeping. I was concerned that these plugs would make me sleep through my alarm, but so far, it hasn't been an issue. They're not uncomfortable or particularly hard to use - you can pretty much tell whether they are in correctly or not based on what you can hear. When they're in correctly, the sound reminds me of being underwater. I fall asleep on my side but turn a lot throughout the night, and they haven't fallen out yet. Overall, I highly recommend these and was impressed with the price, considering how well they've worked for me. I'll continue to buy them as replacements when the current pairs get worn out. I'm not sure how long they'll last but the texture does tend to hold hair/grime so I will be replacing them fairly frequently. But I highly recommend them for anyone looking to fall asleep in a busy, loud area.

O produto isola bem o som, mas da para ouvir um despertador tocar, barulhos muito altos, mas comprei para intuito de amenizar o barulho do vizinho de cima e deu muito certo. Fica certinho dentro do ouvido, não incomoda no dormir (inclusive deitar de lado) excelente! Obs: só achei que poderia ter durabilidade maior, em 5 dias ele perde a aderência…

Son los tapones con los que mejor duermo. No molestan porque no se meten en el oído, pero tapan perfectamente gracias a su tamaño. Tendré que repetir mucho tiempo mientras mi pareja no deje de roncar
