The Pro/Outback blade is about twice the cost and not needed for the type of cutting I do. ### ⭐ Not the REAL thing!!! *by D***E on June 20, 2024* This blade is not equal to an original Silky 2000 Bigboy blade. I am a USFS certified sawyer. I have been using a Silky Bigboy for 7 years and make 100's of cuts each season. In the past I would get 2-3 years of sharp fast cutting from a blade. Also, I never had a blade break or bend. I recently replaced a blade with one of these and was seriously disappointed. At first it seemed fine....sharp and quick cutting. I quickly noticed that the blade was so flexible that it bowed and bent very easily under normal use. I also noticed there was a slot shaped hole in the center of the blade length near the back edge of the blade. The slot was approximately 3/8 inch long and 1/8" wide. The bending and bowing seemed to be propagating at one end of the slot shapped hole. While using the blade the second day during normal use it bowed and snapped in half. The snap point was at one end of the slot shaped hole. It is obvious that the slot shaped hole causes a stress-riser and was the source of the weakness that caused the blade to snap. I will not buy another of these inferior blades. BEWARE!!!
