In this set of two OVAs, Joe, Alfin, Ricky, and Talos, along with the robot Dongo, take on jobs that require all the tools, tricks, and knowledge that the Crushers are known for. Of course, no job ever goes as expected. I haven’t seen the “Crusher Joe,” TV series in a LONG time & this animated TV series (released on both DVD & Blu—Ray) is well worth the purchase price! It’s just a pity that only three episodes were ever made/released publicly. “Crusher Joe,” either failed to generate enough revenue to cover the cost of production by the Japanese studio that created it, the series itself never really caught-on with viewers or the creators possibly just ran out of new ideas. Perhaps it was a combination of all three scenarios. I guess we will never know since “Crusher Joe,” was created back in the 1970s. Overall though, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Review: Crusher Joe crushes the competitors! - I despaired of ever finding this very rare film which took me 20 years to find on VHS tape and then to find it on DVD at such a low price was heavenlt. I did find a DVD for CJ but it was $155 USD! So cool! I collect old rare out of date anime films and TV series too! Now if I could just find a copy of Nanase the Fire Investigator Girl.
