I've been using it for less than a year. It seems flimsy at the head of it but hasn't broken yet. The head is some sort of metal but the 360° swivel part is plastic there are two little metal screws that already have rusted. I'm hoping if they break that they will be easily replaced. For the price it's a fair try. I imagine it could last longer for those who will use it just for their home.
