Far superior to inexpensive ink printer
Easy to set up, and has been in use for almost a year now. Ink lasts a long time; Iโm still using the factory sample cartridges after several reams of paper. Replacement ink is reasonably priced. Quality product, good color prints. Prints on card stock well. Costs more than ink printers, but is far superior in printing quality and durability. Wireless to all my devices. I expect years of useful service.

Second printer for the home after great experience with first
We needed a second computer at the house. Our first one is a Brothers 3290 that has been a workhorse since 2019. When we realized another was needed, I didn't hesitate to return to Brothers. I got this one because it's so similar to the 3290. It was VERY well packed and once we removed about 20 pieces of tape holding everything in place, it printed our test page and looked great. Brothers aren't cheap and the ink isn't cheap, but if you need a reliable printer, there's no option. t delivers professional-quality color prints with crisp details and vibrant colors every time. What stands out most is how incredibly user-friendly it is. Setting it up was a breeze โ the wireless connectivity is seamless, and it integrates effortlessly with all my devices, whether Iโm printing from my computer, tablet, or even my phone. One of the best features is the speed. I can print large files without any lag, making it perfect for those high-demand tasks when Iโm under a deadline. Plus, itโs impressively quiet, which is ideal for my work environment. The color accuracy is fantastic, and Iโve been able to produce great-looking presentations, brochures, and photo prints that look professionally done. Another major plus is its efficient ink usage. The toner cartridges last a long time, and replacing them is easy and mess-free. Overall, the HL-L3300CDW is well worth the investment for anyone needing a reliable, high-quality printer. Brother has nailed it with this model, combining versatility, speed, and cost-effectiveness in one machine. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a robust printer that consistently performs at a high level!

GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER! I bought a new one (not refurbished) 9 months ago and consider it the ABSOLUTE BAR NONE WORST excuse for a laser printer (even with Brother toner) that I have ever seen! It operates in a manner different from all other brands, so took awhile to get used to. Some things are drop dead FAILS as far as Iโm concerned, like how it puts a slider on the right side of a page on screen so you can see where you are on the page AND THEN PRINTS IT IN WASHED OUT BLACK ON EVERY REPEAT EVERY PAGE when printing in black and white OR color, ruining it for anything but draft quality. It prints envelopes quickly and easily one at a time only but MASHES them, so you get a heavily creased paper output for EVERY envelope. Wireless works well with my iPhone from the other side of my house, but it cannot reliably find either of my MacOS computers sitting only 3 feet away from it, so I had to connect one with a hard cable, and not print from the other (and I have a T1 wireless connection!). I had to destroy the box to get it out to set up so am stuck with it, and it weighs more than a medium sized refrigerator, but Amazon's own page said the day I got it was the last day for return anyway! It took WEEKS to try to resolve enough issues with it to print at all with any kind of results from it. Print quality is draft quality at best, MUCH WORSE than ANY decent inkjet printer (on standard 8.5"x11" paper) but OK on envelopes! I went through my first black toner cartridge in only 110 pages, so you see how much is WASTED. Since this is the only model Brother uses for its own staff, I expected MUCH better of it. Brother also gives you NO easy way to contact them to try to resolve issues, either--their website contains NO information on how to get in touch about a problem with ANY product! Someday when I have a spare $400 to replace it, I will, and you can be assured that I will NEVER buy another Brother product!

Perfect for Homeschooling
This printer is fantastic. I wish Iโd bought a Brother color laser printer years ago. My B&W Brother is about 13 years old, still chugging along, but I bought it the model before wireless printing was added to the machines. The wireless connectivity and being able to print from my phone has made my life so much easier, because Iโm rarely on a PC. The quality is very good, definitely better than my older B&W. Scanning quality is also an improvement over the older printer. I wouldnโt call it quite picture quality, but the textbooks and workbooks Iโve printed look very nice. My B&W is a lot faster, though, so I still use it a lot for things I need quickly. I use this printer whenever I want things looking nicer, or if I need to print something from my phone. That feature really is a huge, positive change for me. It was the fact that so much of the curriculum I wanted were ebooks that you print at home that finally tipped me into putting out the money for the new printer, because it is rather expensive. I do find it to be worth the money, though. I didnโt have the time to try to find a used model on Marketplace, which I might have otherwise done, but homeschooling happened very suddenly, and I didnโt have the time. Another reason I wish Iโd bought years ago is the only negative I have with the printer, but this is unfortunately true for every brand of laser printer out there - the ink subscriptions, and adding chips to the ink so you can only use name brand. I use e-Ink in my B&W, and the cost savings are worth the slightly lessened print quality - itโs $19 versus $70 for the B&W printer toner. I had to do the highest tier subscription of 500 sheets at $34.99/month. I think it should be illegal to force people to have a subscription in order to use the ink that comes with their printer, but since itโs not, and all the brands do it, I was stuck with it. They do give a bonus number of pages, but I did go over my first month even with the 1,000 page bonus, and then again my second month. Because of credits I got, Iโve stuck with the subscription longer than I planned, but in a month or two, Iโm going to buy a set of toner cartridges that are not subject to a subscription. I did have a whole extra month free because of bonus credits they offered at signup. The thing about subscriptions is that they may actually be worth it to a lot of people. But, they really arenโt great if youโre printing heavily. I received my printer and literally ran out of black toner within hours, and couldnโt finish printing a text. To Brotherโs credit, when I contacted customer service the next day, they overnighted me the black toner, and sent me an extra one to have on hand as a backup, so I wasnโt left without ink again. The customer service has been very good.

A Color Printer That Doesn't Disappoint
Although most of my printing is black and white, I needed a color capable printer for occasional color printing. I had owned a number of Brother units previously and had enjoyed a great deal of reliability and durability with those units, so I decided to purchase this model and I haven't been disappointed. It's fast enough for my needs, and the print quality and color accuracy are quite good. Easy to set up. Quiet operation. I recommend it.

Good but not as great as my 15 year old Brother B&W laser printer
Overall I love Brother printers much more than other models (I've used many at work). We had a Brother black and white laser printer at home that we bought 15 years ago, and still going strong, just replaced toner once every 18 months or so and drum about every 5-7 years. However we wanted color so we gave the B&W to our college student daughter and took the plunge on this color printer. The good: it prints great, it's fast, quality-wise it is every bit the equal of our old B&W. Colors look very good. On these strengths alone I'd probably have given it 5 stars. The bad: This thing has a disturbing habit of waking up randomly in the middle of the night and running some kind of test, I don't know what it's doing, it makes a huge racket and the LCD screen blasts white light illuminating the entire room. We keep it in our bedroom because that's where my office PC is. This is so unnerving. I can't find a single setting to turn off these diagnostics or even turn off the lcd light. It is very annoying. I put a thick plastic credit card over the LCD so at least the light doesn't wake me anymore. If you have this is an office building or a separate room of your house, obviously this won't be a problem for you. It also appears this has some sort of check where if it determines the toner is low, it WILL NOT DO ANYTHING until you replace it. With our older B&W Brother printer, it would tell us when it was low, but it would still print or copy if we wanted to. Kind of annoying, and you can't be sure you're really getting the full 100% use of whatever toner was in the cartridge. So, all in all it's a decent printer, but I'm disappointed in the lower overall customer experience with this newer model than our older model.

Solid multi functional printer with good price
It is a great laser printer! The reason I pick it is we want to have a scanner and a copier. The printer fulfills all these functions flawlessly. Its price is also very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Probably the best home printer out there
I had a lot of checklists to meet and this met nearly all of them. I wanted laser so I didn't have to always unclog inkjet printer heads and waste ink because I print infrequently, and deal with having to frequently change the ink cartridges because of it. Also I wanted a "just works" network printer that could use low energy when idle and any device including phones could print to. I also wanted an all in one with scanner too. The only areas I had to compromise were no wired Ethernet, which I was adamant about having but learned my network issues with older inkjet printers were because of new network protocols that this should be fairly future proof for, and the added size. It's roughly about the same footprint as an inkjet, but just a lot taller. If you can accommodate the height, then this is a killer printer. The quality is surprisingly good too. It won't rival a photo printer but it's still very good at plain paper photo printing. Also if you tried to print the same on an inkjet, the paper would be soaked and wrinkly. This can print a full page full color photo and the paper is completely flat. This will pay for itself not having to constantly replace ink cartridges because I print like once or twice a month tops and inkjet always dries out as has issues. My "forever" printer.
