The Official SAT Study Guide was launched in March 2016 and the main feature of this guide is the four official tests that have been included in it. The book has the latest information on strategies and information that can be very useful to students. Students will be happy to know that this information comes from the same team that is responsible for making designing the SAT exams. Students can greatly benefit from this guide as it increases their experience and also boosts their confidence levels. The practice tests acts as test run, which help the students to understand the basic structure of SAT. The descriptions of mathematics are exactly in the same fashion, as they come in the tests. There are many sections that have been designed to give the student experience in writing and reading the sections in a limited time period. The guidance is identical to the SAT pattern. The students get optional essays, suggestions and essay questions that can help them to strengthen their base. There is a complete and separate chapter on PSAT, which is a good addition to this guide. This section has 180 million scholarships attached to the performance of the student. The official SAT guide is an essential part of the Board’s policy to have as much transparency as possible. Although these practice sets are also available in the website of the College Board, the guide is the only place where the students will find them in a hard copy. This guide has three hundred pages of guidance instructions and test information, which can be used as a ready reference by the students. This March 2016 version has updated formats, content and information. The practice sets are written in the same pattern as the actual exam. The Mathematics section comes with detailed descriptions; there are targeted questions on a SAT question category type. In short, this is an ideal book for the students to work on their preparation and be absolutely to take the SAT exams. About the author: A US based non-profit organization, College Board was established as the College Entrance Board more than a century ago in 1899. This American board was created to make it easier for aspiring students to get access to higher education. College Board is headquartered in New York City. I hate math in the SAT though but it is seriously well explained in this book step by step!!! It's all in one what's needed to score a 2400!! You can't underline statements in the reading passages, can't do scratchwork for Math sections, and can't bubble in answers on the OMR sheets, which may not give you the true sense of time management needed for the test. 3. More essay prompts If you're planning to take the Writing, then definitely buy the book. It has 2 extra prompts which were unedited for the KA website and very comprehensive scoring rubric examples.

Excellent Book with detailed Q's and Ans's
It's a very detailed and helpful book with several examples for each type of question in a very friendly manner which can be understood easily.This book also contains 4 real SAT QUESTION PAPER WITH SOLVED ANSWERS. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to prepare for the the SAT(in and after 2016).

This book is best book for those who are preparing for SAT exam . All the basic knowledge and test manuals with answers are very nicely explained and 4 real test papers are given here everything you needed .. Everyone should buy this book ..

Really helpful
this book is an ideal for SAT preparation I found it really helpful and the price is also very low compared to College board's official website I really liked it and I would suggest the SAT aspirants to buy it

Buy it for being the official SAT guide but not for the practise papers
You can refer this book book for the essay formats and how they are rated and for the reading and writing section. The math section is average at best. Don't buy this book for its practice papers as they're readily available online, so i suggest you get an additional book with this one.

I haven't started reading it yet. But still, I've gone through the book. This book introduces you to the SAT. It contains all the necessary information about the NEW SAT. It constitutes the building concepts too. If you're a beginner at this, then this product's a must buy.

Great guide for SAT
It is a nice book for complete preparation of SAT. It covers every topic and type of questions that appear on SAT. A Must buy for everyone who is planning to give SAT

Incredibly useful and advantageous
To be honest, I bought this with almost no intention to actually do the practice tests, but only to read the tips and tricks to the SAT. I took the SAT not long ago during my senior year in high school, as a last ditch effort to acquire as high as possible grade on it as I could. I had never previously taken a standardized test with any preparation, and just showed up to take the test. While I always performed well, it wasn't necessarily at the standards of some elite colleges I had planned on applying to. I can't stress enough how useful practice tests are, especially for standardized exams. The thorough reasoning provided for each answer on all the practice tests really teaches you exactly what you are doing wrong and how to correct it, along with the process to find the answer for future reference. I can safely say that doing the practice tests in this book, as well as reviewing the lessons provided in the book, definitely helped me when I took the SAT a final time, and there were many questions that were structured nearly exactly the same as in the practice examinations. These questions, although few, could be the deciding factors in whether I get a few extra points on my test or not, and I believe they did. Doing the practice exams is really the best way to study for practice exams. You will feel so comfortable answering questions on the SAT after having done them before and understanding how to answer them and what to look for. I felt more confident coming out of that SAT than I ever have coming out of any test. DO THE PRACTICE TESTS IF YOU WISH TO IMPROVE YOUR GRADE. IT WILL HELP. TRUST ME.
