Good for budget gaming pc
This product is value for money and vry good for budget gamers.. performance is good cpu utilization is just 30-40% in gaming and recording..bt temp ll lil high conpair to other 65w cpu's coz its 95w..if u can manage its amazing one

Worth product
Still didn't benchmark it. But it is running very smooth at all times. Delivery was quicker than expected. Product is good.

The Beast...MUST BUY!
Price is high but the performance it delivers is above expectation. Bye Bye Intel, your dictatorship is over now!

Superb processor but Ryzen 5 1600 (nonX) is better value for money! Overclocking Tips
Best processor compared to a i5-K line of intel in terms of better value and future proofing to some extent. here is my detail pros and cons, Pros: 1. As per AMD, X-CPUs are designed to take higher voltage to achieve higher clock speed. I am currently running this processor and achieved 4.0 Ghz in all cores till date. However achieving 4.0 Ghz need high amount of voltage 1.425~1.45 (vcore). Since it does not come with a cooler so you have to buy a high performance water/air cooler to really push this processor to it's max limits. However I would suggest you to by an AIO (water) and I am using Corsair H80i V2. 2. It totally burns a i7-7700k in multi-threaded workload by a big margin because of its total 12T/6C architecture. However i7-7700K when overclocked, is faster in single threaded performance. Now if you are a gamer, then you need faster single core performance where i7 will shine but i7 as we all know is very high priced and you have to buy a Z series costly mobo to achieve that. So it is better. however it seems games have started to take advantage of more than 4 cores now a days. Watch Dogs 2 even 100% utilize a 7700k but in my system it hardly uses 60% of this processor! WOW! 3. It offers similar single core performance compared to 1800x as in both of this processors the XFR boost clocks are designed similarly and max boost is 4.1Ghz: single core, 4.0Ghz Max: dual core, 3.7Ghz in all cores. but don't get scared to see core voltage is touching 1.51~1.52v max. this is only because to achieve 4.1 boost clock and normal. But if you have plan to overclock this XFR makes no seance. 4. I have bench marked this cpu up to 4.0 and achieved outstanding results. I will post some screenshot and so far I have achieved 1349 (Edit: not 1323, found that my posted 4GHz results of Cinabench is not very consistent. At 4GHz I am getting approx 1349 with 3066Mhz RAM) in CB R15 even beating some 12C Xeons. 5. Outstanding value and future proofing compared to Intel. In this price point you can get latest i5-7600k but don't do it because it is almost 2x faster than a i5 in multi threaded workload. Cons: 1. My suggesting, BUY A 1600 INSTEAD OF A 1600X WITH EYES CLOSED. A 1600 is much cheaper and it has a Wraith Spire cooler with it that can be used to OC 1600 up to 3.8Ghz which is unbelievable. Yes you can pare a better cooler in future to expand its limit. Now why 1600? first of all it is cheaper and it will provide similar level of performance, it is 65TDP processor having a lower operating voltage compared to 1600x so generates less heat. Verdict: Don't buy this processor and get a R5-1600, overclock this cpu to 3.8 Ghz easily with the stock cooler and use it for two years and if you need buy a better cooler and overclock it to 3.9 Ghz. Now a 1600 will achieve 3.9 effortlessly and believe me there is very minor performance gain from 3.9 (1600) vs 4.0 (1600x). Still have any doubt then check out some latest reviews and you will understand. If you are not going to overclock it then a 1600x is better than 1600 but price will be much higher for 1600x+performance cooler than 1600 with added box cooler. If you have any doubt then post a comment and I will get back to you soon. So far it seems AMD has designed this CPU to collect more amount of money and increase profit. I have not seen some solid evidence or experienced in my CPU something special than a 1600 that could justify the hefty price margin. Overclocking tips: For P-state overclocking this processor reduces its frequency when under idle condition. however if you apply normal overclock it will stay at its max frequency all the time. Don't freak out it is normal for Ryzen and it is as per their SenseMI technology where the CPU intelligently reduces its power to draw less energy even maintaining it's max frequency. When you type a multiplier in bios for overclock AMD disables the option of minimum frequency in windows power plan. I have applied p-state overclock and found the difference is very minimal compared to normal overclock by typing fixed multiplier. Now always use a offset core volt to achieve overclock and not a fixed voltage. It eventually increase the CPU life. Thanks for reading.

Great processors! 1209CB on cinebench R15 stock settings 1280+ ...
Great processors! 1209CB on cinebench R15 stock settings 1280+ with 3870mhz OC!. Amd precision boost will boost it upto 4.0ghz on 2 cores depending on thermals. Graphics card is a must! Otherwise pc won't post. Tho all b350 / X370 chipset boards have HDMI out , but that's for older am4 socket processors. Make sure you get proper RAM , my Lpx vengence 3000mhz won't run higher than 2133mz , so check compatibility. These X models have offset of 20°c for keeping it cooler under loads during higher frequencies. Ryzen master will show actual temps which is around 34-40°c around idle and 65°c during load. Make sure you get a am4 bracket cooler as you won't be getting cooler with x processors . Go with aio liquid coolers, instead of air coolers.

and AMD processors run as cool as intel
AMD processors overheating is just a myth from 20 years ago when AMD was not supplying processor fans. Some people used without processor fan and had heating issue. A lot has changed since then, and AMD processors run as cool as intel. Please note the process TDP wattage while buying. Whether Intel or AMD, both get hot. Higher the TDP, more heat the processor will produce. You just need proper cooling heatsink and fan for it. The new Ryzen processors are on par or even better than intel, but priced lesser.

Best AMD chip after 12 years of Athlon Legacy
The old amd athlon era is back this is the best chip for gammers plus this beast can out perform the i7 7700 on multi tasking and no intel 6 core chip come close to it price and performance wise this chip is a beast in rendering, encoding 3d modelling those who complain about this Amd Ryzen chip are naive. If you are planning for a rig and want to make it future proof than buy it closing your eyes
