REAL TECHNIQUES Core Collection Set, Bronze, 4 Piece : desertcart.in: Beauty Review: Not just any ordinary brushes, more like magical wands for the face ! - These aren't just any ordinary brushes, they're more like magical wands which can flawlessly apply makeup. I bought these from the seller Cart2India for 990 Rupees and I can say that they are authentic because the brushes have "real techniques" engraved on them as well as the name of each brush, and they apply makeup flawlessly. I've used and washed them several times and the quality has not deteriorated. This set is such a steal considering the price and the quality of the brushes (and the price has dropped yet again. oh desertcart your deals are amazing haha!). This set has 4 brushes and comes with a case which can also be folded and displayed on your dressing table. I'll just give a brief review of each of the brushes: 1. Pointed foundation brush: It applied my liquid foundation flawlessly without any streaks and without wasting too much of the product. I dot my face and then just brush using outward strokes and it distributes the product evenly creating a natural look while also covering blemishes. On several instances I've found people telling me that my face looks clear and I told them that I was wearing foundation and they were surprised because the finish was so natural. BTW I use Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation, 310 Sun Beige, 30ml 2. Buffing Brush: I use it to apply my powder to just set the foundation as I feel the sponge provided in compact powder cases distribute too much powder. 3. Contour brush: I use it to apply blush. Prior to this I used to use a Vega brush and it would just never be able to pick up the powder. This brush picks up the blush easily and applies it well. 4. Detailer brush: I've used it to apply eyeshadow (as I just use one colour, I don't know how well it would work for blending). Also used it for concealing (but of course you can't do both at the same time as you would have to wash the brush). It's either one or the other but this brush is great for applying makeup to hard to apply areas. All in all these are amazing brushes and they're really soft too. Brushes also last longer than sponges so they're worth investing in. This set is very helpful if you're a beginner because it has the four basic brushes everyone should have in their makeup kit. Review: Gem of a kit! - Am writing this review after using the brushes for a month now. They're brilliant for anybody who loves makeup: A pro, or even for somebody who is just starting makeup, these brushes are a wonderful headstart. I use the buffing brush in my kit for liquid foundation, it blends like a dream, and you get custom coverage with it too. The brush hardly soaks up any product hence not much wastage. Washed it four times, with shampoo and conditioner, and no shedding absolutely. Perfect for full face application. You can also use it to blend everything nicely, to blur harsh edges of contouring or blushes too, or to set the makeup up with powder. Pointed foundation brush: Okay, one major grouse. This is such a tiny brush and you can never use it for full face application. What it is perfect for is concealing. I use a very pigmented cream concealer for a couple very harsh scars on my face, it covers up like magic. Also brilliant for highlighting. The definer brush is THE best brush for lipstick application. Gives a wonderful smooth finish even for MAC retro mattes (the driest lipsticks I've ever tried). The contouring brush is as its name, perfect for contouring. Controlling contour lines and opting for a harsh or soft contour is a dream with it. For folks who don't contour, you can simply use it as a blush brush, it is more than good for the job! Cart to India SLP is a good seller, with good delivery timings. Cant say about others here, but these folks do sell genuine sets and do a good job on delivery.

Gem of a kit!

Affordable and great
these are good set of brushes for beginners. I especially like the buffing brush and is great to work with powder products. The concealer brush is suitable for correcting small blemishes and cannot be used for correcting bigger areas like around the mouth or under eye. Contour brush seems great, eventhough I havent used it for contouring, I used it for blush and was great, looks like multi-purpose. Did not find the foundation brush effective compared to the other brushes. Overall, great product.

Best affordable brushes for make up lovers
I was looking for this beautiful set of makeup brushes quite for a long time. Thanks to amazon making it available. These brushes are very soft n beautiful. The buffing brush is my favourite, it gives flawless coverage for any foundation. The contour brush fits perfectly on the hollows of the cheeks to give a beautiful shape to any face type. Detailer brush is very useful to apply highlighter to the corner of eyes n it can also be used to conceal little blemishes. The pointed foundation brush can be used for applying concealer under eyes. Overall it's a must buy. Great quality at affordable price.

Would definitely recommend for beginners who are unsure what makeup brushes to try.
absolutely love these brushes! got it for 805 rs. they are the perfect collection for applying that first layer of makeup, such as foundation and concealer. not only do they blend makeup beautifully and allow to build a beautiful and desired coverage they also clean beautifully and easily with shampoo and water. I have had mine for months and there has been no fall out or issue with them. • good quality brushes. • non-scratchy, Soft bristles. • easy to clean. • a set of brushes together- easy to travel with. • cruelty free brushes.

Decent set for beginner..
Its a good set of brushes. It can be beginner's delight. The only disappointment being the buffind brush, which is not as dense as expected, making the liquid foundation application not to so efficient. It soaks up a lot of product. The bristles otherwise are very soft. The pointed brush in the set that I received, had glue in the hair, which makes me wonder if the products are authentic or not.

These brushes arrived the next day with prime delivery. They are excellent quality, good value for money! I bought a cheaper set of brushes previously and was disappointed with the quality and since everyone is raving about these real techniques brushes I thought I'd treat myself to a nice set of brushes. They are super soft, dense and flexible and they don't shed so definitely worth buying these for this price (currently £10.82). The buffing brush really does a great job of buffing my powers in and I just love the contour brush because of the shape. The pointed foundation brush is way too tiny to apply foundation with! I usually don't use a brush for my foundation anyways but I use this brush to apply my concealer and then blend it out with my real techniques miracle complexion sponge. The detailer brush is very small, I use it for detailed eyeshadow application or lip brush but can't be used to blend anything out it's too tiny and harsh for the eye. The case which comes with this kit is completely useless to me. First of all it claims that it doubles as a stand for the brushes, this thing does not hold the brushes vertically in any way as all the straps that hold the brushes are made for the brushes to sit horizontally. I've looked up other kits and it seems that the standing case is a totally different one, the one that comes with this kit is just a case. I'd rather use a brush bag to hold my brushes than this chunky hard case that just takes up too much space. If this would have a stand feature I would have used it. All in all, this is a great brush collection and I highly recommend it.
