I have bought it to use it on our Sump, still yet to install the same. Update: July 2021 the second float valve purchased in August 2020 stopped working and broke in tank with water pressure. There was no change in water pressure or anything for it to get spoilt this quick. Noticed a Indian company making this will try that product. Seems like the Float Valve is Made in Thailand. The Product has a decent built and has a 1/2 diameter. It is super simple to install and works better than the generic ball cock which is used in a overhead water tank. I used a 1 inch extension and then connected the valve. It may be advisable to reduce the incoming water pressure to the tank where the water is stored as the water fills in at full force. Consider using a CPVC elbow at one end to direct the water flow downwards.
