I feel this is a quality product because: 1. Hair can be styled in many ways after applying this, but even then the hair doesn't become hard. It's soft yet keeps in place. 2. Smells good and not too hard. 3. Looks natural 4. Hair doesn't lose it's moisture even after a wash and so it seems it less damaging to the hair. So if you are looking for a messy hairstyle that looks natural to the eyes (you don't want to look like a wannabe) then this is a good product. I haven't found anything negative yet.
