I've had no problems with the hub I've connect to it which has my mouse and keyboard plugged into it, none of which are USB 3. It comes with the two cables the go from the back of the switch to whatever devices you're connecting it into, usually the computers. I haven't measured but I'd guess they're 2 to 3 ft long. They're USB 3.0 B to A cables. Not the same model, but similar. I have run into a issue with too much power being drawn by specific Logitech devices. **Q: Will that support displayport usb devices?** A: more of a "yes but" - I used this and the amazonbasics port replicator to switch the input to my KVM and peripherals between two laptops. The major issue is DisplayLink needs to be as up to date as it can be, and it's still not a great standard for QoL - don't expect to do medium or high end gaming with it.
