But even the one that doesn't work as well still works better than some of the more expensive ones I bought. (Previously, I got 4 dispenser pumps from another brand that I have spent around $20 on, and I got fed up with them failing, or just not working right in the first place.) So I am somewhat resigned to the fact that foaming dispensers are not lifetime investments. So when I give it 4 stars I'm `grading on the curve', it's relative to what else is out there for sale.By the way, I have been using one of the dispensers with a mix of unscented baby shampoo (Pipette brand) and a few drops of tea tree oil. I had wondered if the tea tree oil might ruin the foaming parts, but so far there has been no problem with the baby-shampoo-and-oil mix. I add about 3-4 parts water to 1 part baby shampoo plus around 2-5 drops of the oil. You don't need a lot, and the mix smells of tea tree oil. I'm basically matching the smell of the commercial product OcuSoft Extra Strength and I only use it on my eyelids, where eye doctor recommended I use the (somewhat costly) the commercial product. I also bought some brand name 'Dawn' Platinum ERASING Dish foam dispensers and they gummed up in less than a year, got those in a 3 pack and down to one left and it's almost nonfunctional. But these generic one's we have in all our bathrooms and I'm now buying more to replace the band name ones that stopped working.Other thoughts: They feel a little flimsy but work great. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that the top dispenser doesn't screw on centered, once it tight, the spout is off to the side at some random angle.
