This case is made to be worn on a belt, and the vertical loop has a lot of play in it. Thus, whether I'm standing, sitting or reaching into a pants pocket, it's easy to shift the case to the most convenient place on my belt. I do it without even thinking anymore. The case stays to where it's moved, too, because of simple body pressure. I have an Apple XR phone with a UAG Monarch phone case which fits nicely into the pouch. I especially appreciate the Nylon loop on the back of the pouch which can be attached to my belt & will not swivel as with some of the other pouches that simply clip onto your belt. Also the magnetic closure in the flap is much more durable than Velcro closures sewed into the flap or cover of the case.
