Masterpiece: Poldark, Season 4

Loved this series! Not having access to much on antenna tv,, it's great to find good prices on dvds...and good dvds! Poldark is a really good series. A mixture of history, romance and beautiful scenery!

You will know a good series when it is still consistent by series 3 The acting is good, the scenery excellent the time period and place most interesting Buy all the series. not to be disappointed

What a great series this is, far better than the first series with Robin Ellis even though that was great to watch. I love films and series whereby the under trodden manage to get the better of the rich and powerful. I have watched all the series so fat and am looking forward to the next chapter. You will need to watch from season one, but you won't be disappointed.

Season 4 offers evolving and revolving character adventures. The story continues exciting, romantic, and historical like the beginning. The characters have been developed, now with depth, and to some of us that have been with this series from the start, they are like family. It is a Cornwall England historic classic. Scenic settings are as much a part of this hit series as the storyline, background stringed music, and characters. Vistas you’ll dream about in your sweet dreams, and some action that could bring on nightmares. Eleanor Tomlinson and Aidan Turner have perfected their Poldark roles. Maid Prudie (Beatie Edney) may keep you laughing. The show loses several support characters. Buy all 4 seasons and watch them in order if you are new to this Masterpiece PBS show. Can I give this a million stars ?? If you’ve been watching Poldark , you’ll love it ! I don’t even watch it on tv anymore ... I’d rather buy it and binge watch !! LOL !! Amazon has the best price , and you can even preorder the latest season ! It arrives always in perfect condition and no problems playing !! So , do not hesitate to buy this awesome series !!

I love this Masterpiece series and was so happy to get season 4 to complete my entire set. Very quick service mailing it to me and in perfect condition. I had started binge watching my collection when I realized I was missing season 4...couldn't watch 5 without it! LOL

Consistency of excellence in long-running series is an increasingly (and unfortunately) rare thing. Witness the "decline and fall" of once-great series like "Vikings", "Outlander", "Sherlock", etc. But if you have enjoyed "Poldark" up to this point, never fear -- it seems certain that you will enjoy Season 4. I hope that is a 'confidence-builder'. As usual, Amazon's order-processing, packaging, and shipment are superb and totally top-drawer -- and that is greatly appreciated, too! Consistency! It is as it is - 4th season of BBC’s Poldark. If you loved seasons 1-3, you can’t miss season 4. If you haven’t seen any Poldark, for me it’s a favourite right up there with Sense & Sensibility (BBC’s made in the 2000’s decade).

The good news for me is that there is going to be a season 5 which sadly might be the last one. A well produced, acted and written series which never fails to please!

You get used to this style of historical fiction, its romantic and psychological relationships couched in pseudo provincial dialects and characters with a very short shelf life. Fun it is to kibbitz along with the developments because there's only the outside of them all to adopt. Only the most brazen of emotions fuel the tension, and cannot be taken seriously. One can see through the writing and its cleverly framed shallowness. One joins along with it all, and were it on stage, one would shout "villain" and through peanuts at the actors. I look forward to the next season and trying to outsmart the story by guessing the outcome of things.

I have bought the complet serie of books of Poldark by Graham and I am not at all desapointed of the video 1,2,3,4.seasons and looking forward to the nexts seasons

It came quickly and it was correct. Got nothing else to critique as it was a gift for my mother who is a fan of the series.
