This container is perfect for travel, it fits easily into bag, holds at least 5 servings so I am not constantly refilling it and it keeps our yerba fresh. Other containers specifically made for yerba had low ratings or were just ridiculously expensive just because they were made specifically to carry yerba mate. I want to love this, such a cool idea BUT it is not leak proof. The bottom is only "leak proof" if you keep it upright. Because...how is the bottom leak proof, but not the top? Looks the same to me. I used it for a caprese salad and another time for diced beets. Both times leaked in my backpack. Also the label is coming off after washing twice and the bottom kind of creaks when I grab it, as if it's two separate pieces to the bottom. Maybe I got a defected one.
