Very good movie a classic

Great story, lots of action

First, let me say that I decided not to watch this movie when it came out summer 2003. I was so turned off from the first one (Fast & the Furious) that I though the sequel will be a waste of time & money (most sequels tend to flop nowadays). The cars in the first movie were ok, but there was no plot...basically none...nada!! Not to mention Ja Rule only showed up in the movie to get dissed? lolol...serves him right. Fast & Furious was lame overall, but Vin Diesel stole the show (hands down). So, I'm disappointed that he wasn't in this sequel though. So I rented & watched the DVD 1yr later expecting to see another dumb sequel. I was wrong... This movie finally has a decent plot that gelled all parts of the movie together into one exciting rollercoaster ride. The cars, were much better, waaaaay faster, not to mention the girls and the setting (how can u beat Miami?). The first race totally blew me away. Incredible Car Stunts!! Not to mention the cars. Skyline? Spider? Evo VII? The 2 Hemi monsters? American Muscle?...What more cars could u ask for Man? They even rolled out the whole pack of cars near the end. The police aren't that stupid. It's just flat-out fast paced action from the word "GO!" The driving maneuvres during all chases were well done. Paul Walker's a pretty cool actor...I respect the man. Tyrese was just too funny. Eva Mendes is so pretty, that I've stopped dreaming of J-Lo. Ludacris & Devon Aoki look so cute together. Not to mention the villian (Cole Hauser), he was stoned cold. All the actors were tight. How can I forget the soundtrack? All the tracks are flat-out club bangers that fit the scenes like a glove. That track during the buildup to the 1st race (when the skyline was driving in) was my favorite. You'll be feeling the beats for real. To me this is one of the hypest movies I've seen that really lived up to it's name...definitely one of the best urban movies I've ever seen in a while now. You won't get tired of this movie, and you'll want to watch it over and over again. This movie is a keeper for all car-lovers. Should they do "Fast & Furious 3" with Vin Diesel back in with Paul Walker, Tyrese in it, true justice will be surely be served. This movie rocks! Why? It's all about the cars baby!

Good movie

it's a good movie but for me one time is good enough, i rented it, and won't be buying it. I liked it but for me personally i only need to watch it once.

When I ordered this, I was expecting to have to go to Walmart and buy eight dollar dollar Blu-ray copy of 2 fast 2 furious because I didn’t think that this had an English option but I figured what the hell I bought and pay for the movie. Let’s watch it in German to my surprise there was also an English option it arrived in perfect condition and way way ahead of schedule, I absolutely would recommend this product to anybody five stars and I am currently trying to get all of the fast and the furious movies on steel book and I will most definitely be ordering the rest of them from the one who is selling these 100%

Dieser Film fängt da an, wo der erste Teil aufhörte. Ich bin sehr skeptisch was Fortsetzungen anbetrifft, aber hier, war ich angenehm überrascht, wie spannend dieser Film gemacht ist. Vor allem die tollen Autostunts habens in sich. Paul Walker spielt seine Rolle auch wieder sehr gut, wie auch schon im ersten Teil, nur noch besser als dort, da im jetzigen Film Autos oft vorkommen. Das die Handlung nun in Miami, statt LA angesiedelt ist, find ich auch ziemlich gut, weil dadurch eine richtig dichte Atmosphäre aufgebaut wird, und der Film nicht langweilig ist. Auf die Handlung, werde ich nicht näher eingehen, da dies vorherige Rezensenten schon taten. Nur soviel: Schaut euch den Film mal in englisch an, da wirkt alles noch besser, als in deutsch, wegen der Dialoge meine ich. Nun zur Technik: Das Bild ist 2.35:1 (16:9) anamorph abgetastet, wirkt sehr scharf und kontrastreich, der Ton Dolby Digital 5.1 deutsch und englisch, sowie deutsche und englische Untertitel. Viel Zusatzmaterial z.B. Making of, Outtakes, Interviews mit dem Regiesseur etc. Es lohnt sich das anzuschauen, weil sehr informativ. Zum Film: Ich meine dieser Film ist noch besser als der erste Teil, weil hier die Story noch besser ist, als im ersten. Außerdem gefiel mir Vin Diesel nicht so besonders, weil er nicht so glaubwürdig rüberkommt, wie Paul Walker. Ganz bseonders gut fand ich auch Eva Mendez, als Undercover Polizistin. Sie besitzt ne gute Ausstrahlung. Deshalb ist mir dieser Film lieber als der erste. Mag sein, daß der Film nicht anspruchsvoll ist, aber als tolle Unterhaltung reicht er allemal zum ansehen. Wer eine Dolby Digital 5.1 Ausstattung hat, bekommt sehr guten Sound zu hören, weil der Subwoofer und die Bässe sehr gut wummern, ganz große Klasse. Dieser Film lohnt sich zu kaufen, weil er immer wieder gut ist.

La calidad de la imagen es muy buena igual que la del sonido (incluye castellano). Un clásico que lo han cuidado perfectamente.

Qualità ottima per un lettore DVD di nuova generazione, soprattutto ottima qualità audio e qualità video per un film che ha i suoi anni!
