**Q: Are they easy enough to fold with the use of only one hand?**
A: You really need two hands. The cardboard is stiff so that it stays on the corners of the frame.

**Q: Do these really have open corners that leave the frame corner exposed like some reviewers stated?**
A: Save yourself some time and aggravation. These are flimsy.
I recommend going to a local frame shop ( a decent one) and asking if they will sell you some They're not as inexpensive as these but they work a hundred times better.

I ordered two boxes of these for my move, and there were only a couple of frames these didn’t fit well. They’re not for ornate frames with lots of relief or gilded swirls or for expensive artwork. Pay more to box up that kind of stuff. These are meant to protect the corners of everyday frames from damage. And they’re great! And fun to put together in front of the tv!
