Perfect for keeping the ducks out of the pool. My clever husband secured him with fishing line close to the first and second float on the pool sweep hose, he gently glides thru the water when the sweep is on and sits stealthily several feet into the pool when the sweep is off. This also helps keep him from being pushed into a corner or tangled in the sweep. So my small dogs wouldn’t freak out when they saw him floating in the pool, I put him on the floor in the den for a couple of days so they could acclimate themselves, haven’t had a single barking outburst from them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a Good Decoy for Cranes, but Great Pond Decoration!

We ordered this gator head a few weeks ago to prevent cranes from eating our fish. Unfortunately, 1 week later, I spotted a large crane in our pond near the alligator head, proving that it was not a good decoy for cranes. By the time I had gone outside to scare the bird away, I noticed that 9 of our 10 fish had been eaten, while the alligator head calmly floated in the pond. We decided to save our last fish by bringing it to a nearby aquarium. Although all of our fish are now gone, the alligator head still floats in the pond as nice decoration. I doubt that we will get any more fish.
