We scan product code from our own internal system as well as standard bar codes and drivers licenses. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute Nightmare! Worse than nothing!!!!!!!!!!! *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2022* First scanner had no dongle. Returned it. New scanner has dongle but will not connect to computer, and will not scan anything but 2d barcodes. Oddly the included booklet has about 99 1D regular barcodes and one single square 2D code. I really seriously hate hate hate this worthless scanner. Rather than just not powering up, it gives you hope that it will work someday. Not sure why every other barcode scanner seems to work fine when you plug it in, and maybe scan a few barcodes in their booklet or something to turn certain features on or off. With this one you spend hours reading through the booklet in the hopes you may someday learn the secret to someday figure out how to successfully scan a single barcode, if study the booklet long enough, and pray hard enough. GARBAGE! What bothers me most is how many barcode scanners I've used in the past with no problem. I guess I will never learn the secret to using this bizarre useless scanner. In a nutshell - I read barcodes from my computer screen as such - when I deliver products I snap a picture of the bar codes from the boxes....using an iPhone 12 Max....
