A GREAT PRICE..
THIS HEATING ELEMENT IS OUTSTANDING AND VERY DURABLE.

Great Heating Element
Heats 8 gallons at a rate of approximately 1.0 degree F/minute. It would be nice if it heated a little quicker but at least I don’t have to rewire my garage for 220V. Can’t beat the price and convenience of 120V. I had to bend one of the heating elements in order for it to clear the inner HERMS coil on my HLT brew kettle. I tested it the other day and it works as expected. I was able to maintain a temperature of 153F in the HLT using an Inkbird IPB-16S PID controller. The 2 in tri clamp fitting is great as well.

Worked perfectly
Easy to wire up. Sacrificed an extension cord for it. Heated about 7 gallons of water in about an hour and a half to 200 degrees all by its self. Very happy with it. Looking forward to pairing it up with a temp controller soon. Ran it for about 8 hours with no problem

Worth every penny
Heated up 5 gallons to a rolling boil in about 40 minutes. Super impressed with the quality and functionality.

Haven't used yet but it is pre-wired for backup it looks and feels durable.

Haven't used the item yet, but seems solidly built with a protective cap for wires which is missing in a lot of heating elements which makes things a lot safer when working near wet environments. Plus the customer service from Dernord on this and their other products is top notch!

Awesome value and super fast delivery. No trouble boiling a 5 gallon batch of beer with 2 of these in one kettle.
