UPDATE I've been on this now nine months. After they wanted to put me on Proluria because of my wrist fracture (I was on the Fosamax before only for a 6 months) I requested another DEXA scan. TODAY I GOT THE RESULTS AND IT IS IMPROVEMENT! IN FACT SO MUCH SO THAT I DON'T NEED TO TAKE ANY MEDICATION! No Fosamax etc. I also recommend taking your calcium with lemon juice. Go look it up. There is a journal article/clinical trial on this. ———— After fracturing my wrist horribly and having surgery to put my phones back together, to early onset osteoporosis, I did some research on herbs good for calcium absorption/ bone density and discovered this herb (Drynaria). It's been used in China for probably thousands of years of course and research has shown it does help build back bone density. I'm not supposed to take the Fosamax, which I was checking before my accident (although only for about four months because it was diagnosed too late), for six months after my fractures, so after that I am going to have them do about intensity test again and we shall see how well deserved it works! I called the company, worried that it does come from China, but they do tested to make sure there's nothing "bad" in it, so that made me feel better. The woman I spoke to you a couple of times this very nice…. So then I ordered another! I'll definitely update you after my phone density test — in about three months now.

I really wanted to like these pills. The first day I took one pill in the morning, with oatmeal and water. I didn’t have any problems. The second pill I took in the evening with 2 glasses of water. That night, I had a bad pain behind my breastbone. I woke up the next morning and my esophagus felt irritated and it felt like a pill was stuck in it. I took one more pill with my morning oatmeal and water. There is still no change in the irritation in my esophagus, so I have stopped taking the pills. I’m afraid of doing damage to my esophagus. I was hoping this would be a good alternative to biophosphonates. There were no directions on the bottle on how to take these pills. I must have received a bad batch.

Bone health is critical. As we all age maintaining healthy bones can be done. Bone loss comes with aging. I use this product and AlgaeCal calcium. My bone density test is outstanding.
