Great taste, easy to cook down, pairs with many dishes
Best Kruat ever. My grandmother is from mernau germany in Bavaria region. And she loved it. Cooks down great till its soft. Goes amazing with a garlic potato. Ill be buying more.

Subtle but savory flavor. I eat this stuff on toast, it's so good. Compliments other flavors. I replaced Cleveland Kitchen with this. But with the CK pickles and hot honey jalapeños. Delicious.

Good, but still not Bavarian restaurant style
Don't get me wrong, this is good sauerkraut. But having lived in Munich for 2 years, I still don't find this the same texture and flavor as most home-made sauerkrauts served in restaurants there. Maybe after several hours of simmering, but not right out of the jar.

Yes, it's a bit pricey, but SO worth the cost! I've tried a lot of different brands, and this is excellent. Highly recommend.

Value for the money
Mine was kind of dry but good value for the money. My litle dog likes this brand too when we have it on hot dogs and share. Nice flavor not overwhelming. Just wish it had more juice in it.
