It is too large for the front pocket in my pants and way too large for a shirt pocket. During the Fall months I usually wear a light-weight jacket, but most of my jackets do not have a pocket that allows me to securely carry my large phone. This case and the strapping mechanism can be worn comfortably under a light coat or even between my t-shirt and my shirt. The straps keep the phone in place but make it easy to remove the phone when it is needed.
